That was a bloody good test from a neutral point of view. Wallabies weren't bad, I genuinely thought the Scots just played well. Thay controlled match well, kicking game was spot on. Watched it here in Pommyland, and enjoyed the commentators too. So good test, watched in bloody good pub, so another plus for the game.

The Scots played well and deserved the win. Agree with comments that the ref was to involved. Needed to let the game flow. Sadly we had no spark. Losing Kurevi (red card last test) and JAS has meant our centres are not getting over the gain line. Clearing kicks by Gordon were average as were the penalty kicks by Lolosio. (he just has a pop gun kick.) Our line out was predictable with only 2 jumpers in Wilson and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto). The fact that we stayed in contact with the Scots was fortunate. We need some front line players back next week. TT, McReight, Fessler, JAS. Not sure what Schmidt can do about our 5/8 situation. Lolosio and Donaldson are not the answer. Edmed needs some game time but needs to be selected. He is a bigger body and is better defensively that Lolosio and has got confidence from his NPC time. The best young 10 in the country is Isaiya Katoa and we lost him to League.

If we only lose by 10 to Ireland then that will be a good result for the Wallabies

Wobs handling lost us that game. It was rinse and repeat. Get into their 22 then turn the ball over either by handling error, held up or penalty. They boot it long. We return with a 30 m kick. They boot long again and we kick it out at about our 30/40m line. Their ball. Kick deep again. We don't clear well. Territory and possession. Smart by the Scots.

No individual lost the game. Was a team effort of errors and being slightly off. Scots played well. Smart. What a difference a legit test 10 makes.

Ref didnt let the game flow. Also had some weird interpretations. Allowed them to have hands in most trucks, side entry, roll into the wobs 9 and lay on their side of the ruck slowing ball. Not a single penalty for being in the way of the 9. Would have been penalised all day in the SH.

His only real howler imo was Kellaway being held after that ruck which led to their try. Clearly obstructed the defender. You can't do that, it's not NFL.

I had a feeling the game would go this way. Week 3 of a 4 week tour is the hardest. Think we will see a much better performance next week.

What do they do in the centres?

TT, Faessler, Williams and McReight back in? No Skelton. JAS gone. Who do they bring in? Potter? Kellaway? Stewart? Would kill for Kerevi now. Shame Daugunu is injured as well. Even Paisami.
