Grey PE laaitie broke his leg on saturday.

Martin Groenewald (18), Grey High School Boy from Port Elizabeth broke his lower leg in a rugby match against Grey College in Bloemfontein today. The boy's home town is Humansdorp.

JR Prinsloo, sport coordinator of Grey College confirmed that the player was taken to Bloemfontein Mediclinic.

Reinette Oosthuizen, spokesperson of Mediclinic Bloemfontein, said that he broke his tibia and fibula and will be operated on Saturday afternoon.

Final score 50-21 for Grey College Bloemfontein

OMG that FS turf in the winter. You play on dirt with dead grass sprinkled over it over there. Not so soft like it would be down the coast. The low temps at night kills the grass in that regions

Tomorrow is a very special day at Paul Roos Gymnasium. Its their 150th rugby celebration day and some of the best rugby schools in SA roads lead to Markotter Stadium. Myself will walk line, work in the Snoepie, walk line and end the day by have a nice braaied steak. Laaitie jump the plane to Holland for a hockey tour this afternoon.

Awesome schoolboy rugby. PRG played a great second half coming from 12-3 down to run those big Affies players off their feet.

Also great to see PRG really getting their PoC's through on merit and a great replica jersey from Paul Roos days.
