Perhaps PSA shoulda made The Darkness play in their alternate strip.

Disappointing game that failed to score at a point a minute.

Bokke v Darkness in SF 1 should be a cracker. Classic RWC battle.

I not saying you attacking the ABs , it's the continual attack on refs I find pathetic!!

These are discussion boards. What would you have us discuss? How well everyone played? Is it ok to say the French played poorly or is that an attack on the players? What about how you disagreed with what I said? Did you not attack me?

Rugby discussion boards are for discussing rugby. Refs will make poor decisions, teams will play poorly and commenters will make silly comments. I have made as many positive comments about good play and refereeing.

If you want nothing but sunshine and lollipops I suggest you go watch In The Night Garden where no one will say anything to upset your weak sensibilities.

The French make world cup history. I bet the Irish are feeling a bit silly about now.

The ABs won all the scrums too. Nothing for France to take away from that, except that they have a fullback who can kick 50m+ penalties.

ABs far too good, France had no structure or game plan whatsoever. Always sad to see a team full of good players so poorly coached.

Everyone left in the tournament will need to step up a level to go with NZ.

I thought Owen refereed the game well.

What did we learn tonight? Australia can't beat to the ABs without Poey and Izzy. Then the possibilities are according to the state of their injuries.

For that reason the resting vs Scotland is so important and Cheika knows it

  • Picamoles is an absolute beast - his indiscipline aside.
  • Bastareaud needs to play 12 or fuck off.

Ah mate. Don't kid yourself. You won't even beat them with them if they play like this. Nobody will.

If we're still in the game after 60 next week, I'll be impressed.

Well, was that indicative of the gap between NH and SH rugby? France was particularly poor, but I am more inclined to think that it is a result of the French clubs apparently running the game and being intent on buying premiership winning teams at the expense of developing their own players. The national side must suffer as a result.

Apart from Picamoles and Fofana, none of the French side showed the individual skills that would earn them a spot in other national sides.

Savea named MOTM, but I thought Carter, Nonu, Whitelock and Retallick were the most influential players on the ground.

ABs just back to their frightening best today.
