Great steak from Beale, good clearance from Phipps. Poor defence though to leave that hole.

Then a ruck penalty for off their feet.

Good point. But the game has become much harder and more physical. I don't think you can do that now.

True, but in those far off days you pretty much played your best XV in every test and sometimes not even the bench guys got on unless there was an injury. It may have even still been the era when a doctor had to establish that a player was injured before a replacement was allowed on.

well it was hugely risky too - you could have a bloke who hadnt played for months suddenly thrust into the final.

Fantastically well worked try, much better. Force the short defence then good balls to find the overlap.

His kicking is a bit off old QC (Quade Cooper). Needs to address that fade.

Bonus point wrapped up.

wallabies playing likte the team in white is england, need to settle down
Absolutely. Was thinking the same thing, they are chomping at the bit to go but they don't have an opposition. It forces mistakes.

I agree but it is going to be a soft game if that is a yellow.

Joke decision.
Slowed the reply down .he grabbed him around the bicep and didn't slam him at all. Not a penalty and certainly not a yellow. Could all the Quaide haters please lock themselves into a room with Jaco "picked a pack of "and add in Phil Gould

That's a technical call from the ref.

Too easy, inside ball and a gaping hole.

Fuck Beale has a good pass. Problem is he catches blokes off guard too much.

Those inside balls will unlock amateur defences most of the night.

If they can calm down and stop trying to score with every touch they'll run up a huge score on poor Uruguay.

That looked harsh on Mumm from the replay, he probably could've rolled a bit faster but the ball looked to come out quickly.
