Yep, I played in a finals series in that exact year and we had one injury change in between games. Essentially the same 15 guys played every minute of the three games.True, but in those far off days you pretty much played your best XV in every test and sometimes not even the bench guys got on unless there was an injury. It may have even still been the era when a doctor had to establish that a player was injured before a replacement was allowed on.
