I suspect the scars of multiple failed Bledisloe campaigns will be too much for this Wallaby team to bear going into this test. They will be having relapses of past test matches of seeing Nonu offload, or seeing Retallick knock multiple gold jersies back at the ruck, or Coles running through gold defenders like a back for a try.

The weight of all that will be playing on their minds and they will be worried beyond measure.

I hear someone sent an SMS to AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) with a photo of the Bledisloe Cup, just so he knows what it looks like.

This is fun....... :)

I see our friends from the darkness are bringing up past psychological scars . I have been to the pet shop and purchased 5 dog collars as gifts for Kiwis as a choking reminder.
You're right Crusader...this is fun;)

I loved the story of the guy that sent the Wallabies a sign of the Telstra Stadium and a map to the Stadium from downtown Sydney after the 2003 WC final. Just as a reminder that they were actually playing at home......

I understand your point Bullrush, but you are letting yourself get wound up by:

A) the Murdoch press (judging by that picture); and,
B) Other assorted dickheads.

Oh, and let's not forget the treatment that was meted out to Quade Cooper by some Kiwis over the last few years. There are hardly angels on both sides.

The contrast is striking.

Hmmm...what is our winning ratio against AB's in RWC matches....last time I checked it was 66.67%...and what is our winning record of winning RWC finals at Twickers....

I suggest you loosen that "choke" lead a little.....oh sorry AB's like to choke so don't bother

Yes it is fun....:)

When your team has a 76% all time win record it's not arrogance to expect them to win. Hell, I expect them to win.

Nah wrong thinking Sully as if you are 2nd best in the world you want to play against the best and believe you can beat them! We have a chance to beat the AB's and bring back the Bill.

Time to cut this sort of negative thinking and believe we can and will win the RWC....

Time for us Aussies to be more glass half full......

Are those the same records the French were looking at before their semi-final against us?

Last time I checked France did not get to any semi final.....or won any thing of note in last few years. Yes but well done for beating a second tier rugby nation as those games can be tricky to navigate....;)

Ahhh yes, the likes of Moore, Pocock and the rest of the squad will be drawing on their past WC glory at Twickers to dig deep.....

It will have zero relevance. But a little ol' must win game 4 years ago, when I read all the same things then, too old for the fast Wallabies etc, may be playing on the mind of a few of them.

Yes it is fun :)

I'm fairly sure what happened 4 years ago will not be playing on the mind of anyone on the field, even the AB's!

I think the biggest mental hurdle would be the fact that they are playing in a RWC Final, one win away from the biggest win of their lives and one loss away from the worst loss.

Sorry - SA (you - know - that 2nd tier country) were probably looking at their 2 -1 record against us in RWC

France was looking at their quarter-final history against us. Same opponent, same venue etc etc.

Funnily enough, for all of the 'Pool of Death' talk - 2 of the 4 semi-finalists came from our pool and 1 came close to knocking Aussie out of the RWC after they dealt to the hopeless English and scrapped past the injury-ravaged Welsh.

Eh? Scotland were the only team that has pushed us, and they weren't in your pool. But Georgia were. How come your mob didn't put 50 on them?
