If the Wallabies manage to land their game on the one dry day all week for the second week in a row, I'm going to be seriously annoyed with the weather gods.

I assume you'll be doing rain dances every 3 hours until Sunday then? The weather in NZ is so unpredictable. In Brisbane it goes from 'man it's hot' to 'I can't hold onto the steering wheel it's that f*cking hot!'. I will counter your rain dance with some sort of anti-rain dance. It involves doing not much and hoping it'll be dry.

Very clunky grammar. What's wrong with 'We have never'?

Poor form, Robbie. What are they teaching you Australians in school?

Hang on a sec lads...my 63 year old brain was picturing Robbie making the statement on TV. I initially left the "ever" out, but it didn't look right, so I stuck it in! Cyclo's parents and my parents paid alot for us to go to the same school, (in my case the return on investment may not have been great), so blame me, not Dingo!! That aside, I'm feeling much more confident today than I felt this time last week, mainly because I remember sitting in Suncorp Stadium watching the Reds do a job on the Crusaders in the S15 final!

hi,
It looks like to me that cruden hasn't played a full game super 15 game since mid june when wellington last went around and then played for manawatu.
Their last game was early September (4/9) so that's 5 weeks without a game. He will be pretty tired in the second half and could be very rusty.

Looked pretty good coming on last week so rustiness wont be an issue. I dont see much of the ITM cup but he was the star in that comp so was always the 'form' back up to carter anyway. Granted that is, now sadly, a few steps down from tests but you can see he was very confident when he come on. Agree about match fitness but he has had a couple of weeks training and some game time and between him, weepu and Dagg they will share the workload. He is a tough little bugger as his well publicised fight with cancer and subsequent rugby career has shown.

He also has recently won a world cup and named IRB U20 player of the year so, fingers crossed, that experience will stand him in good stead.

Geez, those poor bloody Kiwis are having a rough trot, A loss in the RWC semi on Sunday, and the Bay of Plenty about to become the Bay of Debris! My son works for a travel company specialising in package tours (by Aussies) to New Zullund...poor bastard has had nothing but disaster after disaster after disaster...plus he cops heaps at work for being a Wobs fan!

The Wallabies have really got to get out the blocks well on Sunday to have any chance of winning. Get a couple of early scores on the board to take the crowd out of it and get the Kiwis to panic - at least in the stands if not on the field.

When you have a look through these last 10 fixtures, pretty much every time we've won or gone close, we've started well and most of the time that still hasn't been enough. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/rugby-world-cup-2011/news/article.cfm?c_id=522&objectid=10758308

But if we hand over a 10 point start to the AB's, it will be all over bar the shouting. I'd like to see us play for field position early and try to jag some points while the teams are still working out how the breakdown will be reffed. Even stealing a few early dropgoals seems like a good idea for this weekend.

We've got to put them under the pump and then see if can break down our defences to catch up.

that is my fear, that we go behind, it silences the crowd, we move away from the game plan and we start to play catch up rugby which forces mistakes and counter attack opportunities. Thats not even mentionig the damage between the ears!

Just saw a news headline on ABC 24 saying the Kiwis are asking the ref to police the breakdown effectively against the Wallabies.....am I seeing things?
