Good post that Langthorne. Most of us are seeing doom and gloom and you are seeing the glass half full and rising higher.

Good for you, but we have to see a turnaround in many areas from the players including consistency of good things game after game.

My team exactly except I would prefer AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) on the wing instead of Mitchell. Mitchell is a bit weak defensively AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) has shown to be a better link man for backline moves than the Drewster the Rooster.

I agree with a previous post about some of the gibberish [Deans] spouts at press conferences and I have also heard him speak at a rugby club lunch. Typical is his quote in the SMH after the England game that ' they play closer to the ground over here'. What the hell does that mean? Its over my head and maybe what he is saying to the players is going over their heads as well.

Centreman, it's interesting how people see things differently. I would have thought that was an unusually lucid comment from him. Astute, although hardly original. Partly because of the heavier grounds but also because of their respect for hard physical engagements Northern Hemisphere teams have much lower and in my opinion better body height in the collision zone.
