Same old comments Reg. You posted the same lame stuff during the reign of Graham, Deans, Foley..... oh anybody in a position of authority.

The 'give Graham just one more week/month/to season end' movement perversely went on for years. Many supposed, alleged rugby lovers trotted it out endlessly along, shamelessly, with the likes of Horan.

Meanwhile, fans departed in droves and the QRU's financials went from adequate to deep losses and new multi-million $ bank loans. And no recovery is yet in sight, in fact Reds' crowds are now at decade-long lows. The 'I love Graham' band at all its incestuous levels may yet be the proven cause of the destruction of large tracts of rugby viability in QLD.

The Blues and Highlanders would both sit atop the Aus conference. If they were in it they would be miles in front.

Lots of overreactions here. That rope definitely needs to come back again as a Symbol of being attached to each other and leaving the past behind.

I'd like to see Hooper come out in the press again talking about 4 try bonus points.

Team balance looks fine. Mumm could perhaps add something.

Gibson deserves a chance to redeem himself. It's the least you could do.

Just give it one more week guys. One more week.

Why oh why would a Reds fan want the 'Tahs sticking to the same old tired crap next week..?

Pat Howard's contract as 'High Performance Manager' is up with the Australian Cricket team I think this month.

Maybe he could be considered for the Tah's coach.

The Australian cricketers and Shane Warne I suspect would make a cash contribution to the Tah's to take him!

Actually on second thoughts I would prefer Richard Graham ahead of him.

What an absolute joke this is. The Tahs don't even deserve to be awarded the wooden spoon, I'm sure they'd drop if they were awarded it anyway. The FACT is that no Australian side deserves to be in cooee of the finals, that they will have a representative there is representative of what a total farce this whole competition is.

Agree entirely.

IF the Tahs are able to win every game between now and the finals, OK maybe everything bar a close loss to the Chiefs, then maybe they will have just enough comp points to justify their inclusion and will have been playing well enough to have clawed back some fans. I don't see it happening, but this has to be a massive kick up the arse for them and they have the cattle, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

Hooper's post match interview was quite disgraceful. Sure the team played shithouse but to nag the forwards out publicly is terrible - that stuff should have been said behind closed doors. Maybe for once in his life he should push in a scrum and not blame everyone else

That kind of stuff is the probably the reason he, it seems, is generally disliked at all levels.

Meah, its a shit unorganised game, SANZAAR must be running this as well. But did take one thing out of it, A drop goal is only worth 1 point. So there not as dumb as I think they are. But there still pretty fucken useless... Did Pick the game up pretty quick, pass backwards 4 times and kick the ball away and repeat. More kicking in NRL then Union. And there is this 40 20 rule, if you kick from inside your 40m line and if the ball lands inside your opposition 20 on the full and goes out. The attacking team regains the ball from the 20m Line, But there is no line out in NRL. Tap and go rule, like touch footy.
As I said, shit game
Go Tahs
Can't wait for the Reds v Tahs next week, going to Be good Rugby watching.
Did you work out that if you either don't kick it after 4 or kick before 4 you're considered a genius?
Speaking of genius: why are the tahs not in line for the chop?

Bullocks, it was a shit display and unacceptable.

What did he say that wasn't reality?

Coming out there and playing the company line would have been far worse for every fan watching because it would have been an obvious lie

Oh he was making a joke? Its difficult to tell after years of the same comments being trotted out in seriousness.

Also the fact is that my interest has waned to such an extent I couldn't tell you who the Tahs were playing next week, though I now guess it is the Reds, what was once the jewel in the domestic crown I now couldn't give a shit. I am more interested in who the NZ sides are playing, at least I'll see some decent rugby. (I do admit that is being unkind to the Brumbies brilliant 10 minute display)

I thought Reg was being serious too and don't think the comments saying it's a QLD joke are on the money.

The only relevant thing about the Reds to this thread is that in a sign of the times I am still in no way confident of a Reds victory next weekend.

Probably just all of us interpreting the post differently

Unfortunately the Tahs looked at times too interested in the next phase and not enough about the current and just got continually ahead of themselves

Three (3) facts from this game:

1. The KINGS played badly, dropping a heap of ball.

2. The Tahs played worse

3. The Referee was shit

3. The HOF played what was in front of him. Its hard to soar like an eagle when your dealing with absolute shite. Its a bad call to put any of the shite play onto the Ref in this case or most cases. Without Refs we don't have a game.
