At the end of the day, full flight Vunivalu in space is going to beat 2021 Kahui 9.9/10

Bold strategy cotton, lets see if it pays off.

At 900k a year you'd hope full flight vunivalu in space is going to beat most!

But I'd rather Kahui using his brain trying to shut him down then Pulu. (I'd rather Pulu then Ralston but that's not an option)

Daugunu is a big loss, he has one of the highest workrates in the backline and is constantly coming off his wing for extra carries. Other players will need to pickup the slack especially with two rookie wingers still finding their feet and confidence in super rugby.

My first thought would be they should revert to Stewart 12, Paisami 13 and Petaia wing - Droasese off the bench.

May end up that way towards the end.

I'm with Phil. The Force team this year is incredibly short sighted. It's like a baas baas team of old farts who couldn't get a gig anywhere else.

It really does nothing to further WA rugby.

Finally some support.

Prepare for the Force fans screaming - "this team is necessary because we need to do something to win back the fans!"

Didn't realize losing to the Rebels put bums on seats. Strange times in WA.

I'll show myself out now.

Also this seems obvious. Bonus points can help. But they are irrelevant if we keep winning.

Putting eggs in the one basket Dru? What if the Brumbies beat the Reds next time around? One win each against the other - bonus points will be crucial in determining where the final is played.

You'll have to do it though, BR. probably deserve the home final at that point. But the proof is with Brumbies at the moment, whether Reds win a single bonus point.

Nice, eh?

Yes, but I don’t think any of us are arguing they aren’t, or that winning is in any way a given. Or that we don’t want to accrue them for tries scored in a win.

But as a pure maths equation if we keep winning (ie every game) than future bonus points will be irrelevant.

Jesus, reading some of the cr*p on here about the Force is frustrating.

I get it, you're from Queensland or NSW where you're lucky enough to have a 150 odd year tradition of rugby and the production line of players and schools talent that comes with that.

Instead of being negative and slandering fledgling teams maybe you'd prefer to just got back to playing NSW v QLD a few times a year and jerking yourselves off over your school ties.

The game needs to be succesful nationally. AFL and NRL are accelerating fast away from Union and we're in real danger of the game failing here in Australia and all our best players buggering off overseas.

The ONLY way to fix this is to have viable alternatives to QLD and NSW and to develop talent from states outside these two. This is ultimately good.

What the Force have achieved despite the obstacles should be applauded not sneered at.

I had a reality check last week with the performance against the Rebels and yes we've got a load of over 30's and overseas imports. We're going to take a while to get there.

But you know what? We have a fully professional team in the West. We're relatively competitive. We have a plan for the future. We have huge passionate membership. We fill our stadium. The players care about the team.

Twiggy could buy up half the young talent in QLD and NSW and we could have a squad of young Australian talent but we learnt lessons from last time.

Give us a break. Back the team. Super Rugby AU would be less interesting with just four teams.

We are so goddamn delighted to have a team here in the west. We know it's not perfect but we're working hard to make the best of a difficult situation.

Show some respect for the effort and passion.

Kevin, with the best will in the world (and I want to see the Force become a great success) you filled your stadium in the early days, the last time around. Let's wait and see.

Kevin77 refreshing to read some factual and passionate comments. QLD hardly has anything to crow about with their record in Super Rugby. 1 title in 25 years and that was back in 2011, not exactly a great return on investment for a state that's supposedly a rugby powerhouse. So the Force have a few more years to go to pick up a title and match the Reds record.

The Force may very well get smashed on the weekend but we understand it's going to take time. We back our team regardless.

Happy to wait and see if that applies equally to the negative comments from others.

Even in the darkest days of Super Rubgy we were still getting 10,000 at home games.
Most other teams with their 'history' would kill for that
