Tough ask for the Tahs here. The Brumbies will be smarting and I expect will bounce back with a strong performance.

I think the Tahs will potentially go in unchanged unless Will Miller is crocked.

This will be a good barometer too see where the teams are at. The Brumbies have lost 3 but twice 2 the Rebels and the Hurricanes in Wellington. Tah's have won 2 but them being the Sunwolves and the Reds. But they only lost to the Canes by 1.

Does Phipps walk straight back in or off the bench? I've been enjoying Gordon so far, but I know you 'Tahs people rate Phipps highly.

We're a month into Super Rugby and I still don't know if either of these teams are "good". Hopefully this kickstarts one team into form to keep the Romanians honest and, with SA being a mess and neither the Chiefs nor Blues looking "good" either, maybe sneak a playoffs spot.

Brumbies by 15.

I'm hoping one of you reach another level, but predicting both. I think this will be a very entertaining match with both teams having the capacity to really unleash.

I think Brumbies will be hungry after another loss to the Rebs and have homeground advantage. Brumbies by <7.

AAA is going to be a bigger loss than Pocock............ Brumbies backrow stocks pretty good.

I would go with the same backrow that played against the Chiefs - Valetini/Cusack/McCaffrey, with super sub Samu off the bench.

I really don't get Samu coming off the bench Slim. He looks like an 80 minute player to me, and has been one of the form back rowers in the Aussie sides when he comes on. Play him from the start alongside Valetini and Pocock, but especially if Poey is injured. Either or both of Cusack and McCaffrey are capable off the bench.

WTF?

I wonder when Lachie Swinton will get a run on spot this season. His form warrants it, and I for one would hate to be on the receiving end of one of his tackles. He was merciless on Saturday and hit extremely hard every time. It won’t be long I think until he gets more game time.

Hells yeah. Makes a big difference to the scrum too - the props got all the credit for that shove against the Canes, but it was the second row that provided the torque.

One change for NSW XV v Brums. Newsome in for Rona (rotation). On bench, Miller out (injured), Ryan McAuley in. Clark & Phipps also on bench.
