I wonder when Lachie Swinton will get a run on spot this season. His form warrants it, and I for one would hate to be on the receiving end of one of his tackles. He was merciless on Saturday and hit extremely hard every time. It won’t be long I think until he gets more game time.

Bit them on the bum last weekDan Parks had a good point on the Tahs bench, why not use them? If you aren't select another pig and do a 6/2
5/3 bit them on the bum last week when they had to play a prop at flanker for last 13 minutes, a starting prop had to play 80 while 2 players rode the pine
Short & Mason weren't used

Advantage Tahs
Samu is quite strong over the ball. I get he's an 'impact sub' but i would be starting him in Pocock's absence. After the breakdown gumbo Jackson officiated last weekend Pocock would have been real handy....

I've asked before, what has happened to Roets? Is he fit and just not up to Super standard. He doesn't seem like much of a buy if, with Staniforth unavailable, McCauley is selected in front of him. Makes him our 5th choice lock at best!
They wouldn't have paid much for Roets and it seems you're correct with his place in the pecking order. I'd like to see McCauley get a run. He's was signed out of school and has been on the books for 3 years now for 1 cap. Its probs now or never for himI've asked before, what has happened to Roets? I'm happy with whatever we try to do with our backrow. Cusack should start in Pocock's place. The other two spots can be any combination of Valetini, McCaffrey, and Samu.
