Round 4: Rebels vs Brumbies 11 March 7.45pm AAMI Park

Equalizer

Trevor Allan (34)
Normal service resumes for the Brumbies. This could go for a half tonne if the Rebels don't step up. Could be a coach killer game.

Rebels just don't have any idea where they should be or what they should do most of the time, looking like league players drafted in for their first game of union.

Ah I know you make your own luck but Brumbies have gotten rub of the green. What happened to Eloff’s no try?

Pretty simple really. Hardwick held but got knee to ground, Ref calls tackle, Brumbies release Hardwick, Hardwick gets up off knee without releasing the ball and getting to his feet first so would have been a penalty to Brumbies. Ref however correctly reverted to the earlier infringement where he was playing advantage to Rebels.

Rebels finally play some rugby and score an excellent try. Sorovi-Gordon with To'omua and Hodge chiming in looks so much better than anything else they've offered this year. Brumbies clearing the bench probably doesn't hurt.
