Entertaining game, reds ran out of backs there could have been a very different story otherwise.
Sharks were good to, coming back from 17-0 down deserves credit, entertaining game, good spirit from QLD at the end, thought they were going to pull another one out of the hat there

Have to say the Reds played well with the injuries and the weather, Sharks also played well but the South African commentators are so biased, Hugh Bladen even said " these courageous young Sharks" get your hand off it Hugh.

Yeah, Genia had an unhappy 2nd half. With passing as well.
Still a close game. Poor ball security in the rucks and turnovers from all those flat balls on the gain line is what really cost the Reds the game IMO.

Kinda surprised Tapuai didn't move into 10 actually....... though Frisby had a fantastic debut at 9. Dallan Murphy in line for a debut next week if Lucas & Harris are crocked?
@ Slim, they had two goal kickers in the team... they both went off, how many places should they reserve for goal kickers?

A little dissapointed or are you posting pissed? This post is a little out of character for you mate.
Given our shakey start too the year, there is some positive stuff to take away from that game. We got the bonus point and for the first time this year we stated executing our natural game. God I hope Lucas is ok. he was sensational before going off.

Sharks deserved it, Reds defence, handling, kicking, turnovers, just not good enough. 9 turnovers conceded to what 4 to Sharks, very telling.
Yes, terrible misfortune to have lost 2 10s, and no doubt that cost us, but not a good enough excuse given huge lead we blew.
Genia looks overconfident to me when pressured, rushes, overplays his hand too often, and poor open field kicks. And wouldn't Taps have better to take that final penalty kick?
And well done to Paarl, his certainty proved accurate as to Sharks' forwards intensity and concentration and he called the win.
Hate to think where we'll stand if Lucas and Harris are both out v Bulls.
