We are on the home run. As poor as the Brumbies have been I feel this could easily be a banana skin game for the Reds. If we take them lightly it may just bite us on the arse. I would love to see the Reds remain focussed and make a statement in this game.

Hopefully another big crowd also. I am comming down to Brisbane for this one.

Not a chance....it would take more than a huge effort and a massive change in game plan for the Brumbies to win this one.

I think Link will have them on their toes for this one. After the big high of beating the Tahs, they came down with a thud against Wellington. I don't think we'll see a similar fade out.

Big question at this stage is who will play 7.

It would be great if we can go undefeated at home for the first time since 96.

Brumbies were playing poorly last year (not as bad as this year I admit) but stepped it up several notches to smash us in the corresponding game last year. We didn't exactly belt them earlier this year but came away with a solid win.

I'd expect the Brums to step up and have a fair bit of intensity in the forwards (breakdown and set piece) but I don't think they know what to do with it once they get the ball.

Shatz at 7 for mine. It is not ideal but he was adequite when required there last year. It would also be great for the bloke to get a start.

Reds will go into this game like all other games, and Mckenzie keep there heads bolted firmly to the ground...
I often watch a Reds Training and when the coach talks they listen.... They were doing basic clean out drills the other morning (warming up) and weren't treating them a 100%. Coach belted that out of them quick..
Still the Brumbies have nothing to lose here, and they will come out fighting.
Also be good to see all the Faniga's against each other, as there all playing well and Colby got the under 20's Aus captain

Err Biggsy, Colby won't be there because he is the Aus U20 Captain and they have left for Italy already.

Lei Tomiki is a bit of a forgotten man. He is a specialist open side and was up to the standard in the trials earlier this year. Question is, has he been playing Club and how has he been going?

I thought the reds/brumbies game last year was about the only game of the season where the Brumbies really muscled up and put everything into it. it was a pretty full on performance and after loosing both locks by the 20th minute we were rooted.

Good point. I forgot all about him.

The Brumbies are running out of forwards... Owen is in doubt, and the rest of the Brumbies' academy frontrowers are in the U20's squad...

They're also missing Palmer, Edmonds, Elsom, and Hoiles though injury with Chapman one knock away from being on the sidelines... plus Fainga'a and Hooper are with the U20's...

The good news, if the Crimes is right, is that To'omua might remain at flyhalf for Giteau to play inside centre, with Lilo going to fullback and McCabe going to outside centre... plus White is in consideration for the bench...

But I doubt this much common sense will occur...

There's really no reason why the Reds need to pull anymore players out of the U20's squad...

pretty sure Tomeki is injured too. Hasn't played for a while. Thought I saw some comment about him being in recovery mode as well.

Not 100% certain on this though.

Apart from the having to play a finals series with no openside flanker in the squad.

How long is Gill at U19 for? Considering Beau wasn't in the squad at all, there sure is a big hole now he's injured.

Gill will almost certainly be released. Which is good news.
