Simmons deserved a card for that. Absolutely no attempt to wrap his arms: but whats with all the commentators defending him?
Tah hate runs deep and wide.

Probably felt TPN deserved it since he's done about a fucking thousand of them.

What's with this fucking kicking the ball out of the halfs hand by Phipps? If you threw a hand to slap it down it would be cynical play but kicking at it isn't?

The last one he kicked it after it was passed he was onside no problem with it gale needs to clear it quicker.

Where is this much vaunted Waratah set piece?

Poor ball off coming from both the line out and scrum, going to need to improve it for the finals run.
Test THP in bin, newbie on, scrum goes backwards.
I cannot, however, explain the lineout. It's rubbish.

Its a rich irony that TPN was pitchpoled by one of his own tackles - and Ive called for him to be carded for them too.
Hitting the ball with your foot is not a knock on - so doing it deliberately is not a deliberate knock on.
Thats the difference.
Should have been a Tahs penalty anyway because of schatz illegal detachment and reattachment - which I recall being penalised specifically earlier this season.
I'm wondering if Cheika has put the Tahs through the wringer this week at training. Skelton seems exhausted and had a calf issue in the warm up and the their they're kind of flat.

Watching this Reds team is very difficult. At the start of the season I thought our future was bright with all the young players coming through. Now it's almost at the end I'm concerned the majority of them are never going to be up to it at this level. Looking forward to the clean out that awaits, beginning with team management.

The scrum before that with Kepu still on was wheeled slightly in the reds favour as well..wasn't dismantled, but needs to be more stable on their own feed

Do these commentators watch the game? I'm intrigued to know how Skelton is having "a pretty good game". The line out has turned to shit, he's given away one penalty and had a single run. Now I would not say he has been bad, but don't know how that effort deserves high praise beyond the rest of his teammates.
