Fourie is having a complete mare at lineout time.

Currently it's a game of silly turnovers.

Ended when the Reds go off their feet on their own attacking breakdown.

Holmes off, Owen on.

Another not straight from Fourie off that penalty on the halfway line. Not even close to straight, and his eyes go straight down. No confidence in his throwing.

13 - 10 to the Reds 48 minutes gone.

Better Reds scrum, Cooper short ball off his shoulder his a Stormers player. Reds regather, Genia kicks. Good tactic if he could find the touch, but he can't, so poor.

Reds lineout on the 40m line. Short move to the front, Hanson makes 10m but Owen loses it in the next tackle. Bit of a mess this game right now.

Stormer's LHP goes up, but the ball is cleared.

Davies brings the ball back to the halfway line, pops the ball but the support loses it.

Bronwing on, Quirk off. Quirk has been busy, but not good. Missed plenty of tackles.

51 gone. Dinner for me, be back later.

Please sack Meehan QRU, throwing passing into areas of defenders whilst leaving unmarked men on the outside. Rubbish.

Is Genia being sponsored on the number of kicks he makes?

1st option tonight is kick. Time and time again, and again.

Quirk has to go, Reds desperately missing the Samo/Higgers type in the backrow. No penetration or even go forward in the pack - attack really suffering.

Poor Stormers supporters. You know your year has gone to shit when Force supporters are feeling sorry for you.

Thought he might have.

The one time Genia really should've kicked, and he tried to run from his 22 and threw a rotten inside pass.

Bizarre from the Reds backs, it looked like they had plenty of overlaps but either the last man ran it or they turned it back into the defensive line. Turner, Tapuai and Harris suspect there.

Bit of a horrid game. Stormers creulled by their lineout throwing. Feel sorry for JDV with his post match interview, pretty magnamimous. edit: game was gone for the Stormers when they lost Aplon too, he was looking their only dangerous player.

Much more disciplined performance from the Reds, although they needed to get the better of the ref at times. Sloppy handling, wet ground made it tough for the ref to get all the dropped balls right.

Stormers attack is really tough to watch. It lacks structure, it lacks direction and is far too predictable. Can't fault their passion and desire though.

Well done to the Reds for scraping that one over the line.

I think the stormers could have won that if they weren't so determined to kick the ball away
Good to see genia running even if the execution was off.

Good to get the chockies. Lets get this season back on track. No more kicking please, some of our option were woeful. Thought Browning looked industrious.

If any neutrals are wondering if they should catch a replay, don't bother.

The ground was wet and sodden underfoot, it looked humid, the ball seemed slippery, and despite trying, neither team really clicked.

Reds looked the better of the two teams, but not by much, after the first 20 or so minutes is all you need to know.

5 or 6 not straight throws from Fourie and another few dropped lineouts from the Stormers sums the game and Stormer's night up well.

Oh, and Genia looked good when he wasn't kicking the ball away.
