Bloody Phil Mooney was sooooo close to signing Duane Vermeulen for the Reds. What a signing that would've been.

Please elaborate? I cant remember that. Was it after an U21 tournament or something similar?

Wow, that's a weakened Stormers side. Jongh will strengthen them in the centres, other than that weaker than last week and a lot weaker than there full strength side.

Fourie back at hooker, where he had been going well at flanker.
Tiaan was disappointing this far and Fourie cant go worse then him. It do open a place for Carr who will be needed for the Reds. He is like a race car to the breakdowns. Groome should always start, Louis Schreuder make me swear like a sailor and ending close to be ban out of the house plus my neighbours dont greet me for a week. He is so slow with his service and basic scrummie duties.

I would have liked to see Saia start given it was his 100th game, however there is no room for nostalgia in a professional sports team.

Both Saia and Hanson had one game off the bench each in South Africa, and both came on and gave away silly penalties. I'd really like to see these infringements stamped out by the subs - fresh legs should add to the performance of a team, not taketh away.

Great to see Browning on the bench. I hope if Graham happens to hook Genia at some point during the game it is for Lucas not Frisby.

Saia started both SA games, Hanson started against the Cheetahs. It would be nice if the same rotation could happen with the backrow.

That is bullshit, i doubt i will be able to get the game at the hotel I'm staying at that night.

It wouldn't apply to rooms but some pubs have the Foxtel Channels set just with Fox 1 or Fox 2—or so it used to be when I used to go there for lunch once a week.

The bar manager told me that those were his instructions and he thought that it was part of an agreement the hotel owners had with the broadcaster.

And you could see the possibility that it was tied in with a broadcasting agreement with the AFL, NRL or whatever.

If that is still the case good luck seeing the game in a pub if it is not on FoxSports 1, 2 or 3.

Yep that's been my experience too Lee. It wasn't that long ago that if a game was on FoxSports 3, I couldn't watch it in the few pubs that I frequented as none of them had it; they only had FS1 & FS2.

Apparently you can watch the game on Foxsports 3 if you push the red "viewer's choice" button

The way pubs broadcast the channels through splitters etc limits the number of concurrent channels which can be watched at the same time in the pub, typically you will find they have 3 or 4 foxtel set top boxes which is then sent through a splitter and rebroadcast across a all the tv's.

If the rugby isn't on one of those preset channels then it's going to be beyond the scope of most bartenders to figure out how to get it.

Bloody hell. So Anae is back up hooker. Will be interesting who they bring on as spare prop.

Weather has come good. Very little rain yesterday and sun out today should at least see the surface mostly dry. Just need the humidity stay down.
