Cheetahs making a trple substibution, sorry don't know the Cheetahs players very well, but no 8, lock and halfback all replaced after 45 off minutes. Humphries copped one in the nose.

Cheetahs have been their own worse enemy PB, not the ref. They've missed so many tackles and made so many mistakes it's gone beyond funny.
3M loses the ball midfield and the Cheetahs turn it over.
Turnover at ruck time, 40m out, Ioane scoops up the ball and runs 40m to score out wide. Demas NEARLY caught him, showing some real jet shoes. The Cheetahs kicked their own ball out of their own ruck by accident, another stupid mistake. Ioane may not have been onside though.
Reds score, with, ironically, a try against the run of play.

Reds playing some basketball rugby, Cooper settles it with a nice kick which just lands inside the line, 7m from the Cheetahs' line. Cooper looking good this game, apart from that dropped ball first half.
Reds need to settle this touch rugby as PB said, or a better side than the Cheetahs will hurt them. But the Cheetahs just keep falling off tackles and making mistakes.

Reds get a full arm penalty 5m out from the Cheetahs line from a scrum, Genia takes a quick tap.

Reds counter, score via 3M from a cross kick from Cooper, but the TJ has a report from an earlier instance from a few minutes ago. Penalty all the way back as the TJ claims it was a shoulder. It was a push, not a shoulder. TJ got it wrong, but Cooper should have had his hands up. Cheetahs cop a huge break.

Cheetahs were poor, and had everything against them, including the ref. They fell off most of their first up tackles. Cheetahs need to get their tackles right, and to kick less, to stand more of a chance. Cheetahs set peices should be their strength, and they had a real off day.

The Reds will need to tighten up against the Tahs whose fitness levels and defence will be a bit higher than the Cheetahs showed today.
They have some danger men there though - Cooper, Barnes, Hynes and Ioane all showed some glimpses. Set piece battle will be the key I think. If they try fast and loose again they'll get spanked.
Van Humphries gives a lot, 3M still runs too high for my liking and gets picked off. Croft would have been a real asset in that sort of game.
Hard to pick a lot of standouts.
