I think the Giteau-hate is getting a bit much. He has huge expectation on him every game he plays, both at S14 and test level. He's not in great form at the moment, but neither is the team he's playing in. He has the runs on the board at test level and he should be in the starting side at 12 come the crunch games. I wouldn't be surprised, however, if Deans gives someone else a run in the June tests to light a rocket up Gits' backside.

Exactly the team I'd pick. That's a hell of a good 22 and they are all on form (ok except for Gits)

Deans has invested a lot in Gitaue and Barnes and I don't think he's just going to throw it out the window, so expect to see Barnes on the bench.

another impressive aspect? No Yellow Cards. Despite the high pressure, defending the line status of the game at times.

Shit yeah Noddy. I didn't consider that. The simple fact that the Bulls never got much of a chance to put the score up by lots of 3 is a credit as well. Hope they can do it again next week given the way Grant is kicking.

Yup, but also the opposite, with some of the Bulls plays, especially the blatant lineout hit.... No yellow cards... wtf?

I think the only thing that saved the Bulls player from a yellow that time was that he didn't have a run up and it wasn't particularly malicious. With that said if you look at the rules it should have been a yellow, but I wasn't too bothered by that, I thought a yellow might be a bit harsh.

Congrats to the Reds and their supporters on a very good win. I hurried the family after walking the line to watch the second half. Disappointed with the Bulls lack in the passion stake and had my hands full with Mrs cheering for the Reds. She still suffer from Naas Botha syndrome and cheering any team playing the Brutes.

Anyway this keep the Brutes in the Stormers sight and double points on offer next weekend for the Stormers.
