Nonngorr. Fa'agase. Asiata. Canham. LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto). Blyth. Smith. That's what allowed us to win the game. The direction from Tate and Lynagh, very much required

I reckon you're not doing any favours to Dre. He's playing well above his weight and just seems to find the hole between two defenders and get us over the advantage line consistently.

The Blues set pieces were ordinary last night. I know the Reds have been blasted for their line outs but it felt at the ground that more often then not the Reds would disrupt the Blues lineout or win it.

Agreed on the Ref. Was completely guessing half the time what the problems were especially with that knock on 10 phases before the try.

Only gripe I have is, the Reds need to realise they won't always have to push the pass. That Hunter pass to no-one was silly when hands would have done what we needed.

Angry that someone picked up on my failure in prompt generation and product verification ;)

Just goes to show Loss Bleus don't get no respect from no-one no more, not even AI...

Surprised at the pig headedness of the Blues trying to grind through the middle. After the match Canham explicitly mentioned that they knew they had another pack waiting on the bench so they could afford to bash the Blues early. We’ve been good at the ruck this year slowing down opponents and our centres are pretty damn happy tackling hard all day. Our smaller outside backs didn’t really have to defend.

Dre made 14 tackles, missed none. More the any other player in the Reds
You’re right Dre played really well - but Dru has a point - the tight five ground the win. Dre was on for 80 mins and did 14 tackles but Canham and Nonggorr on for 60 mins and had 12 a piece and then the next high tacklers are the starting and bench members of the tight five, despite all not being in for the whole game. Couple that with the amount of lineouts, carries and scrums - they worked hard.
But then again - all worked hard - gave their best. Can’t think of one player who was off. Great showing from all 23. Bloody good team effort. Proud of them all. Nice waking up on a Saturday morning winners.

Fuck yeah. What a great win.

Could’ve been very different if the Blues knew how to actually put the ball down but Reds deserve all the plaudits there. Made a very big, All Black laden backline look weak and ineffective. Ioane and Telea are used to steamrolling people and they got nuffin’. Thank fuck Campbell is back too.

Also Segner is the most airport XV pick ever, so useless, difference between him and Papali’i is enormous. You’re expecting some murderous Panzer but instead you get a little jelly boy Haribo.

When Tate just glided through the gap next to him it looked like an opposed training session. Granted he’s probably the quickest 9 going around but not even a hand on him.

Our defence was great and set piece was strong but it was poor decision making and clearing that gave the blues so many damn chances (which they bungled).

Too many times we tried to run it from the 22 and ended up have to do a clearing kick - usually short, and just gave the blues another chance to attacked from within the 40.

Thankgod the Blues were off, a better team would have punished us

He's "busy" like Blackadder yet even more ineffectual

They play like they've been told "trust the gameplan" by the coaches.......... but they have no leaders with the brains to make the necessary adjustments midmatch when its not working

Yes Lynagh and Campbell’s line kicks lacked a lot of distance. Put the pressure back on the Reds.
