Just home from the game,
Haven't been to a game this year, but is the ground announcer not providing the basic info (e.g., penalty to the Reds, not rolling away)? It always used to be the case - although now that I think about it, I'm not sure I recall it from the games I've attended over the last couple of seasons...one thing I will say is, they ‘Super Rugby’ really need to have the referees comments broadcast over the speakers in the stadium. There’s far too many times where the crowd is left perplexed as to what the call was or what the explanation of it was. This basic stuff that needs to be made standard at games of this level.
NFL have done it for years.
100%Just home from the game, happy with the win and teams performance! Lynagh played a great first half, and second half was more defence. Stars in defence will be interesting for this game I think, highlight some heavy lifts in the forwards.

It is not. Took a non-rugby oriented work mate to the Tahs/Chiefs game and I couldn't even figure out what the fuck was going on half the time. The Foketi try was inexplicable.Haven't been to a game this year, but is the ground announcer not providing the basic info (e.g., penalty to the Reds, not rolling away)? I think occasionally you hear when they’re talking to the TMO.. but if it’s outside of that no, it’s silence around penalties.Haven't been to a game this year, but is the ground announcer not providing the basic info (e.g., penalty to the Reds, not rolling away)? Lol… I’m a suburb or two over and had a kind partner willing to pick me up…Do you like, live in the stadium basement?
@Dismal Pillock is a great partner, although Ive heard he has multiply wifes, so don't feel to specialLol… I’m a suburb or two over and had a kind partner willing to pick me up…
It was particularly bad in that respect tonight, they didn't even announce 90% of the subsI think occasionally you hear when they’re talking to the TMO.. but if it’s outside of that no, it’s silence around penalties.
That is quite handy. It’s also more than the Brumbies crowd in what were similar weather conditions. Probably helped not being in school holidays.Crowd announced as 16,394
@Dismal Pillock @zer0 what was it like to watch on tv?
Reds must be frustrated with the weather and it's impact to crowd numbers this year. I can't remember a home game it hasn't rained this yearCrowd announced as 16,394
Anyone else notice the misspelt name on the side of the wreck that once was a Killdozer?
Angry that someone picked up on my failure in prompt generation and product verificationWhy the angry face? I think it makes it funnier. There's a belying gag in there fighting yo get out, I feel.
