Reds 2023

Dobbins position at the next level might actually be 7… I think if he got involved in a super rugby setup some clubs might ask him to beef up for scrum time… a heavier Dobbins, is that the type of player you want?

I think he is marvellous pilfering over the ball and being light on his feet he is actually a pretty gifted ball runner with good hands… wonder if he could play 7 at the next level? Does anyone know if he play the position at school before a switch to the front row?

All the simps who "invested" in Lana Rhoades' NFT pump and dump can claim that they once got f""ked by a porn star too.

On topic: Reds program yielding few and underperforming wallabies needs serious looking into by Rugby Australia right now?

My thinking as to our strongest team, so the one that takes on the Wild Knights, would be:

15 Grealy
14 Vunivalu
13 Flook
12 Henry
11 Aubrey
10 Creighton
9 Thomas
8 Wilson
7 Anderson
6 Uru
5 A Blyth
4 Smith
3 Nonggorr
2 Faessler
1 Fa'agase

16 Asiata
17 Zander
18 PSS
19 W Blyth
20 Wallis
21 Jeans
22 Lynagh
23 Fittock

Then I'd hope we let a few of the others have a run in the 'warm up' game v Kubota. So

15 Aubrey
14 Vunivalu
13 Henry
12 Creighton
11 Fittock
10 Lynagh
9 Jeans
8 Uru
7 Anderson
6 Wallis
5 Upfield
4 W Bluth
3 PSS
2 Blake
1 Zander

16 Asiata
17 Fa'agase
18 Nonggorr
19 A Blyth
20 Wilson
21 Wershon
22 Flook
23 Navosailagi

Pretty close to what I'd have, but I'd probably swap Aubrey and Fittock.

playing QLD U19. Obviously a strategic decision to give me consistent game time running a backline and playing as a leader. Makes sense to me

Given the limited games I’d prefer to see Lynagh, Creighton, Grealy, Aubrey given as much game time as possible in the 10/12/15 channels anyway.

He played #2 in his last year at Terrace in 2017, may have played backrow earlier on. Has always played like an extra backrower , at Terrace he stood at the back of defensive linouts and used his speed to put pressure on the opposing #10, he was quicker than anyone else in the backrow.

Not too surprising to see but on Wests instagram post congratulating Anderson and Navosailagi on their selection for the Japan tour they also mention Dobbins was also selected but ruled out through injury (rather than just not considered because of injury):

bloody relax dude, it’s a just warm up match and not even a proper game.

Game vs Panasonic is next Friday and the whole reason for the tour. I’m sure they’ll release details about that game and how to watch if it’s streamed.

Chill Bro, just asking.
But as you may have seen if you follow things, the Reds are still trying to lock in a live stream of next Friday’s game.

in case you care, even though it doesn’t count to you, they won 33-19 with no injuries.
