Can’t remember if he captained, but he sure as hell lead from the front.I think ASY (Angus Scott-Young) has more in the bank than Uru does to get the starting nod. More importantly, ASY (Angus Scott-Young) is carries himself pretty well infront of the cameras as well.
Did Sam Scott-Young ever captain the Reds? He was well before my time so I've got no clue.

yes - once.
Matt is Sam’s older brother , played First grade at Wests from memory , mostly in the centres.Where does Matthew Scott-Young (very good neurosurgeon) fit into the family tree? Did he ever play?
I’d say ASY (Angus Scott-Young) plays a lot closer in weight to Wright/Samu then he does Wilson/Naisarani.
yes - once.
Ah nice - here's one to test your memory Reg, how many Father and Sons have captained the Reds? If Angus got the gig, would he be the first?
Oh, I'm not suggesting Uru would be starting week one, but more speculating as to where he could get to with a half dozen Super Rugby Games. He looked very impressive in the trial. And could/would be getting close to being on par with ASY (Angus Scott-Young) at least from the trial.
Uru played lock for Easts in their grand final run last year
Just letting everyone in here know that I run a rugby podcast called the Sideline Experts that will be back next week. Last year we had some awesome guests (with a particular focus on Queensland as we are based here) including Harry Wilson, Fraser McReight, Byron Ralston, Josh Nasser, Tom Wright, Tim Horan, Sean Hardman and the guys from GAINLINE Analytics.
Been part of the GAGR community for a while now and if you guys get a free moment I think you might find it interesting. Also if there is anyone you might want to here from in 2021 let me know and we will try sort it
"Plays a lot closer in weight" If that is what we are going on Sean McMahon is 140kgs and Rob Simmons is 65kgs
No that’s not what I meant.
Anyway, you asked so I gave two examples and explained why I have that opinion, if you don’t believe that then fill your boots.
I certainly don’t believe he is a similar weight to the likes of Wilson/Naisarani and he wouldn’t be the first professional athlete to inflate their stats.
Harry might of got measured with his boots onASY (Angus Scott-Young) is listed as being 1cm shorter than Harry Wilson on the various profiles but pictures of the two of them together generally make ASY (Angus Scott-Young) look slightly taller.
I would guess they're very similar in weight.
