The torpedo
Peter Fenwicke (45)
Was a bad hire and was called as such.
If the Gypsy is right on both fronts and he is playing OK then he will be off somewhere anywhare
I'd be willing to wager $20 to the Black Dog Institute that ASH will be here for good.
As you mentioned, he's a smart bloke. Most smart blokes studying Med are well aware of how difficult it is to get a placement in a hospital and how its even more difficult to do outside of the state you obtained your degree from.
Tom Robertson put his medical degree on hold when it got to the full time hospital placement part of the degree because it was impossible to do both.
Understandable why Tom chose that route. Unfortunately, Med has a huge amount of 'training' years a Doctor has to go through before they're able to work unrestricted and then if they want to specialise there's another mountain to climb.
Just as a timeframe, Roe 'only' became an Orthopod this year after retiring in 2008. I no doubt both Roe and ASY have/will be helped out by understanding surgeons (from memory John is working with Dr Myers or the same Doc who does the QRU/ARU knee reconstructions), delaying their studies whilst playing rugby may not be ideal for some as you come out on the otherside behind the curve.
Maybe,Robinson should have stuck with medicine ?
Benn 'Fat Cat' RobinsonYou’ll have to fill us in on who this Robinson is?
Maybe,Robinson should have stuck with medicine ?
Losing 2 props really screwed us AAA is easily a test back up THP and does a job on the LHP. Robertson has taken his chance as LHP backup.. But we paid for losing SioThen we could have a worse player playing for the Wallabies and we'd be struggling even more.
