Reds 2019

Yep our scrum is dominating (so it should our A side vs their C team)

We need to score some points though - to have nothing come from that dominance is abysmal

The Reds, Sorovi in particular, are a bit guilty of trying to run everything. Just because it’s a trial doesn’t mean you need to quick tap everything.

Yep - moments of brilliance followed by too much park rugby & we give it away.

Sorovi off with a head knock

So 14-0 Chiefs halfway through. Some moments of brilliance from the Reds but looked very village at other times. Hopefully in the second half they can start stringing some phases together.

Sitting on the hill watching the game straight down the field , the Reds attack is way too lateral, even some of Kerevi’s crash ball have had a bit of sideways in them. Chiefs’s defence doing it easy !

Try Reds. Spun it out wide and Daugunu made a break before they received a penalty and took the scrum. Timu had a good snipe from the base before one of the pigs crashed over.

Edit: think it was Sefa with the break.

Reds in again. McDermott this time with a nice left foot step after a quick tap 5m out. Isaac Lucas had a very nice run earlier that first brought the Reds into Chiefs’ territory.

Reds get another. Starting to find a few holes in the Chiefs’ defence. Timu has been good since he came on although a few issues with ball security.
