Along with those f**cking flash jerseys. Just to round off a directionless season, our players also dressed like goons. Can I also ask why the emotional send-off for Horwill and Genia? Richly deserved if they were retiring, but they're buggering off to France for the big bikkies. Hardly emotional.

I hated the jerseys, mostly because they were used for this round.

This match in particular has a lot of history, it seems every game against the Tahs is a significant milestone in terms of number of matches or years it has been played.

Given this historical importance whose idea was it to prostitute the jersey to an advertising campaign for movies and comics?

The jerseys looked good but should have been in a less significant game.

I feel sorry for those players who are leaving that they will be stuck with this jersey on their wall as a reminder of their work at the Reds.

Goodbye 2015, at least things should get better in future

Yeah I agree they would've been better in an earlier round. I actually tried one on at the local Rebel Sport yesterday and they do look good but not about to shell out $160 when the season was finishing a few hours later and the normal jerseys are already down to $90 in the Reds store.

Bring on the announcement of the NRC fixtures or something.

I liked the jerseys, it creates a point of difference in marketing and plays to the younger generation who actually like watching shows like the Flash..

Yeah you're right, they could have been played earlier in the season, but I still think the concept is a good one.

Well, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I am happy the season is over. But why am I so down when I think that I have to wait 9 months to see my team play again?

He was correct. This year is not like last year - it's worse.

2014
5 wins, 11 losses: -119 points difference.

2015 (with one round to go against the waratahs)
4 wins, 11 losses: -161 points difference.

To summarise this year:

4 wins, 12 losses: -187 points difference. The worst points difference in the 2015 super rugby competition (second worst points difference for the reds since the start of super rugby and the second worst points difference per game for the reds since the start of super rugby).

The second worst points for in the entire competition (2 more than the force): 247 (15.4pts per match which is the worst for the reds since the start of super rugby)
The second worst point against in the competition (97 fewer than the cheetahs): 434 (27.1pts per match which is the 7th worst for the reds ince the start of super rugby)

2007 data is heavily skewed by one particular match.

There is no way to put a shine on this year - it has been annus horribilis and a significant proportion of the organisation needs to have a shake up / clean out.

The Board & CEO, high performance unit and players have been complicit in this years performances and should collectively be subject to some very harsh scrutiny. I am going to guess that the people who will probably suffer the most in this will be the non executive administration staff though who have actually functioned the best throughout and are least responsible for this entire debacle.

It's a shame - they don't deserve what the other muppets will heap upon them.

I was under the impression you brought up 1950's Barry Allen as a means to highlight it as been irrelevant to today's youth.. Yet 2015 Barry Allen is watched by more people then 2015 Quernsland Reds..

It's interesting that when knuckles came on board this year and the Reds won that week, the comments were its amazing how well the Refs busy with s decent coach.
Now the losses have started again, everyone is back to blame Graham and Knuckles name isn't even raised again.

Sort of, yeah.

It will take time to undo the damage that RG and co have done.

When the pressure is applied or when they are tired, the reds will revert to what they know and for the last two seasons what they know is the way that Richard Graham has had them playing. When they are playing against the easier teams, they will be thinking more clearly and will be playing a different game - which they have started to do in patches since Knuckles came along.

It will be seasons before they get out of the bad habits that they have picked up.

I don't think I am alone in thinking that the reds are poorly conditioned for super rugby, and teams like the waratahs are going to slaughter them when the reds get tired.

I dont blame knuckles as I think (and hope) the improvement came by him having one on one meetings with players and assuring them that something will be done about the coaching situation.

They may have started losing again as no action had been taken as quick as the players wanted.

I think Gill would have been told who is coaching or at least and more importantly who will not be coaching before re-signing.
