Dick Graham told the reporters at the press conference for the Thomson signing that he's after a prop (at least 1 hopefully) and an outside back.

Let's have a dig at Jerome McKenzie. The one thing we haven't really replaced from the crop that we have lost is out and out pace. McKenzie has it in spades.

Good kicker and hole runner too.

Would be a good squaddie.

Because we haven't replaced all the ones we lost. A young flyer would round off the squad nicely along with two props

Update: McKenzie has fractured something, not ACL. There is still hope.

We've been back heavy for a while. I don't think we need more in our squad. I think you are better having props in a professional environment and some outside back in the academy playing club footy. It's much easier for them to transition into the main squad at short notice.

Just found out this is on live on EuroSport at about 4am. Might be up then anyway but will be recording it in either case. Keen to see whether JOC (James O'Connor) will be our saviour or just a naughty boy! ;-)

JOC (James O'Connor) is setting himself up for a tilt at 10 at the Reds.
BOOOO!!
That's why I was wondering about Gits. If he's just being rested against a bottom team then them playing JOC (James O'Connor) at 10 prob isn't as big a deal.

JOC (James O'Connor) has always been a great option to rotate in at 10 if the other playmakers get caught up, we need a change of pace, etc.

It's when he's expected to manage anyone but himself that the wheels have tended to fall off very quickly (save for two test matches against pretty weak oppositions - years ago).
