Does anyone think Quade will actuallty go to jail over the laptops? I had my front door crow-barred open that same day and a couple of laptops and a few other knicked. I actually wish Quade had hit my joint - I'd have my laptops back and probably a signed match jersey by now...

But seriously, what he did is the stuff of a good behaviour bond, if it gets that far. Not serious jail time.

i had a mate who got drunk and damaged a bar getting a criminal conviction over it, he wasnt allowed a visa to play soccer in england, im sure quade will have a much better lawyer, but still, there is a chance the bees will be travelling without him.

However if the rumours are true and Quade's hand was 'forced' than he won't have a case to answer for.

How about we leave it to the justice system. Gossiping about somthing before the courts is not going to achieve anything.

anyway, tis great for the Reds to have Daley, Slipper, Fainga'a and Simmons having spent some time under Robbie come next year. Hopefully Higgers gets some time there too later in the year.

Since this IS an internet forum, which is fuelled by gossip and second hand Chinese whispers (and porn, but that is another story), allow me to make a prediction based on absolutely nothing:

All year, the home page of QC (Quade Cooper)'s Twitter account has had a picture of him in his Wallaby colours. 3 or so weeks ago, that backgroung changed to a full picture of QC (Quade Cooper) in his Reds gear.

What do I make from that? Well, isn't it obvious? He has/will sign with the Reds and will play in Brisbane until he is old and grey, at which point he will become move to the Brisbane Ex-Rugger Legends retirement home and become a QLD selector. :yay

You heard it here first, folks....

Talk about somthing else. Personally I think it is poor form to gossip about somthing before the courts but each to his own.

What's the go with Blair Connor, I heard Bordeaux France?

Morgan Turinui - I spoke to him at the Lady In Red function at the Reds vs Highlanders game, he said to me that his services are not required at the Reds for 2011. He said was unsure what to do, either retire or go to another club.

A real shame if it all ends in a whimper for Morgs. He won't be remembered as a Wallaby great, but 20 tests and VC is pretty decent in my book. I'm sure he will find a team elsewhere if his young family allows it, possibly in Europe.

feel the same

is he actually under contract for next year to the reds, he would be an asset for melbourne and the force one would think, even if its in a senior/coaching capacity.

nah, he's off contract. Whilst I think he has a lot to offer still and I am a massive fan. I'd like him to go somewhere like the SOuth of France or something and really enjoy his footy. I reckon he'd thrive in that environment and with a young family, now is the time to do it.

I wouldn't be surprised with Randwick's financial backing if he came back and A) Got a job through the club B) Gave him a coaching job.

I agree with Noddy. Morgs has paid his dues to Australian Rugby and owes us nothing. Go out with a nice paycheck and enjoy the final years of his paying days in France/Japan.

However, once he hangs up the boots, the ARU really should look at bringing him into the fold in a specialist role; his intelligence and understanding of the game is first-rate. I sat next to him on a bus for 10 days in France at RWC07 and the way he spoke about Randwick, S14 and Wallaby history was really something special.

In regards to some of the comments made about Morgan,

he doesn't want to move back to sydney if he doesn't have to and overseas is now out of the question with his children starting school.

It sounds like it will be a sad ending for morgs

So your saying he would prefer to live in Brisbane than Sydney?

That sounds odd, given there were several media stories about Morgs trying to gain a release from QRU this year to begin immediate playing contracts in Europe, which the QRU/ARU squashed....

maybe the Force should chase him, he could play a good mentoring role over there
