Adam Wallace-Harrison?
Rob Simmons no

You're right, I reckon they'll get 7 at most.

If they're talking Academy contract players also they would go close? I think many of them were out after the dinner and may not have been speaking clearly, let alone differentiating between Academy and full Reds contract...

?Matt Lucas

After that I'm out of ideas, but that gets us up to 8.

Very true, either way I'm definitely heading out to Sunnybank on saturday.

EDIT: I had a look through the Reds Academy and unless I made a mistake, Matt Lucas is the only Sunnybank player.

Yeah, I did the same after writing that. Stumped as to where the 10 they were mentioning come from, but either way, it looks like they'll have a cracking side capable of a pretty impressive performance.

I hear Josh Afu is coming back to Briso for a bit. And Ezra Taylor is home. Perhaps they are extending to former Reds players.

Josh came off the bench for reserve grade on the weekend. Not sure how long he is around for and may not get a start in Prems this weekend.

Contracted players could slip in below

1, Greg Holmes
2, Albert Anae
3, PAE
4, Adam Wallace-Harrision
5, Rob Simmons
6, Jack Shatz
7, Liam Gill
8, Leroy Houston
9,
10, Matt Lucas

On another topic, when is Peter Hynes and Rod Davies expected back, if at all? I haven't heard anything about either for a while, I know Rockets is a bit more serious, but Hynes would be close wouldnt he?

Holmes should be a chance to start. His elbow wasn't causing him any issues and he hasn't played for a few weeks. Would be good to give him half a game just for fitness.

Davies injury was meant to be 8 weeks so I wouldn't expect him back before the last round against the Chiefs.

Hynes is a mystery though.

My goodness, throw in Ben Lucas, Digby Ioane and Richard Kingi and it has a menacing look for a club side

When is he signed till? He is being wasted on the bench sadly. I never said this but Jake White should be trying to get him for the Brumbies. Would fix the Alexander at TH issue nicely.

Very bloody scary side! Uni will have the same menacing look when Hanson, Shepherdson, Harris, L Morahan and Lance are back to play. Not to mention Souths with the Fainga'a's, Cooper and Beau.

Teams like Brothers, Easts, GPS and Suncoast need to bank plenty of wins early to be a chance for the top four at the end of the season.

So the Reds will finish Week 14 of the comp 4 points clear in first place. Not a bad position to be in at all....

Still plenty of work to be done to make a home final a reality.

But IF they do get a home semi, I hope it's not on the Saturday night of July 2. There's a largeish Marathon event on the Gold Coast starting at 7am the next morning that I may have been training all year for........
