this is what i'd like to see and in my mind is a quality backline.
replace lloyd with JOC (James O'Connor) in the starting line up and that is probably the best backline we have/have had.

not sure i would've put mitchell, despite my man love for him, at 12 - but hey, he's done well for us at 13, 14, 11 and 15 before so why not!

Have a look at Cadeyrn Neville. He's not a Thorn or Bakkies TH lock but if you want an athletic guy who can tackle a lot and works hard, to team with a grunter lock, he is your man.

There's quite a story about this young bloke who was a rower, but decided to take the winter of 2009 off. He went to play district league then showed up at Manly Oval and Phil Blake gave him a run in 4th Grade in 2009 though he had played virtually no rugby before then. He was in 1st Grade already in 2010 and before the 2011 season the Brumbies had a look at him.

Now, in his 4th year of rugby, he is at the Rebels in their EPS.

From rower to 2nd rower - worth a look.

Cant see the Brutes not dominating this match. Brutes by 50 and they'll lead the SA conferense after this match.

Looking forward to it. Had mail that he might of been heading home. Good to see him stick around.

Slow down Oom. We never start a tour well.

Hopefully our crimson shirts will have the Rebels laughing so much that we'll run in four tries before they know it.

I know that colour blindness affects a good proportion of the male population, but I'm not sure that crimson is the best descriptor for the outfit. I would say lolly pink would be more accurate.

Oh now I get the crimson bit. ;) Brutes will bash the Rebels. They had a week off before the tour and should be fresh. The Stormers played the Brutes the week before bashing the Clan in NZ. Its not the old gaurd, this young laaities like touring and chasing some young Melbourne Sheilas.

Neville was the only good thing about the Rebels in our trial game against the Chiefs in Geelong.

IF he performs we could build a pack around Jones, Pyle and him for years to come.

Taking a saffa from work to the game tonight, after all the drama the JSE causes me I don't know why I'm taking myself to this game to inflict more pain on myself.

8 weeks for that high tackle if diggby got 4, and 1 week if a bull player did that to a rebels player. ;)
