The first try for the Rebs was the one that really got my ..um...excitment levels up.

I don't know how many phases it was, but the pick and go, drive forward, pick and go, drive forward build up was so unbelievably un-Rebels like. The sheer patience to construct something (and hold the ball!) has not been seen down these here parts of Oz before.

Anyway, I thought it was fantastic. Having said that, watching a future 2012 Wallaby in the making (Mitch Inman) break away and charge towards the try line was a joy, as was the Beale/Cooooopeeeer Vuuunaaaa try.

The Rebels really do play some shit rugby sometimes/occasionally/more often that not, but I can forgive that knowing the team still has a ways to go. But, hells bells, when they flick the switch they are an excitement machine. Can't wait until they get all parts of the machine working for 80 minutes.

We were back to Spies version 2010/2011 it seems.

Not good with the Pom train coming.

I liked how hard he celebrated after Delve's try. He's one of those young, super-talented guys who it's pretty easy to be cynical about, but he clearly cares.

Bulls were helped by Botha and Sadie who came on. Sadie was solid in midfield and must start to getting a rep as one playing his best when they play away games. Engelbrecht shifted to outside centre have some defensive issues to sort out as the next teams are not going to give away points so easily.
