He is looking really good, isn't he? He has really provided some go forward with ball in hand tonight and broken quite a few tackles. Seems that he is improving in an area where people are the most critical of him.

seen him play alot and have never been a big fan but his carries tonight have been the best of any aus forward to date (early days). He looks to have improved his game massively

The Brumbies are the real deal, a few injuries to key players will really hurt rebels. Cant see them beating tahs or reds eithier

Man these commentators really are painful to listen to. They don't actually have a single interesting thing to say, not even a single tidbit of information besides what's there on the screen or some useless rugby cliche. "They should have a go here". Give me a break.

They have all week to prepare something or do some research and they come up with the same dribble every week.

Cynical is the most used word in world rugby come Penalty time. My only concern is that the majority of refs and coms don't know what the word means.

Rebels just have too many average players. No offense but so many of their players just aren't up to it.

I think you need to get a petition to get Gordon Bray back on TV. Or maybe consult your Funk and Wagnalls.

Clinical from the Brumbies tonight. Just had too much class for the Rebs, who were gone as soon as JOC (James O'Connor) left the field.

The match-up I was watching most tonight was the halfbacks. I thought both were fairly average, neither really put their hand up for Wallaby selection. If you believe what you read on here there is a huge gulf between White and Phipps, but I didn't see it tonight.

If I had to pick a winner I'd give it to White, but only just. And he was behind a dominant pack.

So the moral of the story is- pray for Will Genia.

In other news, that was the best Super Rugby game I've seen Mitch Inman play. The bloke has a touch of class about him.

Wow. Mogg absolutely burned O'Connor for pace.

With that much pace, he could potentially be a Jason Robinson style test winger.

Robinson didn't have top draw pace. Good acceleration and power (and could change direction amazingly) were his qualities from memory

I felt sore just watching this game.

The rebels pay the price for poor recruiting late in the game. They simply need more super rugby standard players.

White's pass wasn't good tonight, but he's still head and shoulders above the other candidates (sans Genia).........

Think white took a few bad options but his pass is far superior to phipps. Agree Inman was very impressive, doesnt have the silky skills but defensively and at the breakdown he is quality and he runs straight and hard

I reckon white made far less mistakes and got caught out far less than phipps. Neither controls a game anywhere near as well as Genia but.

White made a number of poor kicks, and never threatened the line with ball in hand. Threw a couple of uncatchable passes too. Phipps had a kick charged down, and threw a couple of bad passes. Neither did anything that suggested to me they were Wallabies.

Mogg has alot of Chris Latham about him only a tad quicker (latham was deceptively fast)

I'd like to see Mogg trying to get involved a bit more. He has a few nice bursts, but goes missing for 10-15 minutes. Good fullbacks go looking for work. I am still skeptical of Mogg's ability to work in tight spaces too.

He plays a great style for Super Rugby, but I'm not sure how it will translate to the top level. Especially against the Lions or ABs.
