Why? How much are you picking the tahs by?go ahead make your picks, just means i will go even further up the leaderboard this weekend
Can't agree with Phipps over Rangaboy. Especially when the Tahs put Lucas in.
Not wanting to sound nasty, but are the Rebels 'in form'?? Surely you base your performance on your wins/loss? You may be competative, but you need to win games. Before last weekend, the Rebels previous win was against the Force in Round 8.....I'm going to have a go at stating the bleedin' obvious:
Both teams are proven, and in form, attacking teams. Defence, discipline in the defending 22 and control of the breakdown will win this, pure and simple.

I wouldn't say the Rebels were 'in form'. Don't get me wrong, I think the way the Rebels have been playing is showing some great signs for the club, but they would hardly be happy with thier season.
Fair?
Stirzaker has been a promising 9 for some time but can't see him over Phipps at this stage
In relation to Lucas - the only place he deserves is some time in the Development squad - I have seen him choke numerous times at Super level - McKibbin is not much better either passing over the head of players at least 3 or 4 times a game minimum. Good move to get Phipps for next year
Is douglas really fit for this weekend?
He was pole axed
Isn't there a mandatory three week period for concussion? That was implemented last decade
If the players are flunking the base line concussion tests in order to get more time on the field after they do actually suffer a concussion.
If the players are flunking the base line concussion tests in order to get more time on the field after they do actually suffer a concussion, then they are being very very foolish with their long term health. What is more they are possibly forgoing any legal recourse they may have against their former employer later in life when/if the long term brain damage presents itself.
The hippocratic oath is meant to ensure that all doctors are independent and act in the best interests of their patient at all times. Its already been discussed on a number of threads so I won't go into the details again, but I couldn't agree more. The decision needs to be taken out of the players and the team medics hands and put into an independent doctors hands who assumes all liability. Its the only way, IMO, to ensure that players are fully healed before taking the field again.
Horne did fill in a bit today at 12, and I'd say that around the 50 minute mark we'll see Barnes move to 10 and Horne into 12. Foley at times recently has looked tired and could do with a rest.

True, but legal liability and the Hippocratic Oath are different beasts. Think of the Hippocractic Oath as more like a voluntary code of conduct.
I heard the MCG is a sellout tonight, so expect all the public transport to be slow and the local bars to be chockers.
