They're all the local in-laws (I married a girl from Wycheproof, which still hasn't appeared on the Aussie towns thread). They're Mexicans, but they'll be in Tahs colours. We'll be heading back up the Calder Saturday, unfortunately.

personally, i think that on the back of the support he's received from the players and the quality of play against the crusaders, chiefs, blues and stormers - that hill will get reappointed.
yes there were some bad 20 minutes patches, but they boys are playing for him, they back him and they are clearly showing signs of how could they really are (which in my opinion based on these past few games, is damn good)

Barnes has been promoted to inside centre in the starting team.
Lucas has been given his first start of the year which is great to see and Douglas is listed in the team which is something of a surprise. I imagine that will still be up in the air until later in the week.
Luke Holmes onto the bench for TPN and Kepu starts again ahead of Ryan.

Am also surprised about Douglas, but he trained, full-on, this morning.
McKibbin didn't train and Mitchell did little.
Crawford is just running up and down as is lock Atkins.
Damien Fitzpatrick is training now and doing the work that others are. Hugh Roach is also training with the Tahs.
Gaffney was happy with what Horne has been doing but Barnes needed more time on the park. He said that everybody was aware of the Higginbotham threat — and, indeed, Tom Carter was calling "Here comes Higginbotham" during training. JOC (James O'Connor) got mentions too.

One of the exciting things for me in this match is the classic VIC/NSW rivalry. I'm like most Victorians: I barrack firstly for Victoria and secondly anyone playing against NSW
When these sides last met it was close and I expect it to be close again. Playing stocks may have changed, but certainly so has the fortunes of both teams. I'll be interested to see who will be selected in the run-on; do we stick with the same formula as last week? Do we introduce JOC (James O'Connor) back into the side? Is Vunu ready to return?
I'll go out on a one-eyed Victorian supporter limb and pick a Rebels win here. Nothing to lose and everything to gain

Awww... The Rebels are my second favourite team. I support them when they're playing anyone except the Waratahs.

That basically sums up my view of Vic/NSW rivalry. Or QLD/NSW, ACT/NSW or NZ/NSW rivalry. You lot are right in hating us, but we simply do not care.

Was a bit worried when I saw Carter at 12 in training with Horne bring JOC (James O'Connor) for the day. Figured Barnes was in the team, and he was just taking it easy for the session.
Never noticed how loopy Ulugias set piece throwing was as well, it is ripe to be picked off by any defensive line out. I'd say Paul O'Connell will have a field day in the Tahs Lions game.
