Irish prop Tom Court who was in Australia visiting family on Holiday has been called onto the bench as cover so the Lions can rest Corbisiero. Court is actually born and raised in Brisbane and was with the Reds before he moved to Ulster.

Looking forward to seeing Zebo play, was not on the books when I left Ireland and been watching him for Munster for a while now. O'Brien will be a real hand full.

Hoping Pyle and Saffy have big games, they where missed against the Brumboes. Would have started Jones and had Neville on the bench, and feel for the ranga being put straight behind Burgo.

There have been some interesting twitter posts by NH journos about Court's call-up.

Mainly around the fact that they feel the jersey has been "cheapened" by giving one to a guy who was lucky enough to be in the area, rather than being deserving.

Meh.

Funny how they didn't have the same reaction to the Shane Williams call up when it was an utter farce, we were told how great it was that a "genius" was able to go into the Lions camp for a few days.

Court was one of the best loose heads in the Heineken Cup this season and given that the Lions are down to their 5th choice I don't think its unreasonable that Court is the call up.

A well-timed holiday for Court!

So excited for this match. AAMI Park should have all their media and marketing people filming tomorrow. I've been there for a couple of sell-out soccer games and the atmosphere was fantastic, but tomorrow the roof will be raised off its foundations.

Shame for Stirzaker, hope he gets a good run. Looking forward to English, Woodward and Hegarty in the backs, and Fuglistaller, Saffy and Pyle in the pigs. I'd be ambitious to call a win, but if we can score a few tries and keep them honest I'll be a happy man.

I reckon Swan St will be full so am taking a punt on the Great Britain for a pre-game pint. If anything it'll draw in the Poms for a bit of banter.

Bring it on!

Great Britain for a pre-game pint

Radical suggestion. I am a bit worried about the size of the crowds that will be at the usual holes and Mr B and young Master B do enjoy a few pints before the game.

Options are sparse. Maybe steer clear of the high streets and park yourself next to the hookers and toothless old men at the Cricketers or the Royal on Punt Road?

I'm banking on the Lion's share of the tourists venturing no further then the CBD and immediate surrounds of AAMI, similar to the last Ashes match in Melbourne.

The beauty of the Rebels is the way they lure opposition into an open game. If it is a fast paced open game and they manage not to concede easy tries through the middle they have a real shot at glory.

That's my biggest concern - where to get pints before the game tomorrow. I usually sneak in a couple at the Cricketers before most Rebel matches, but I reckon heading up near church st would be the best option. Perhaps even Beretta's Valcluse might be far enough away from the sea of red to get a pint.

I've been hanging for this match all year and I can't wait to see the crowd. I'm up in 16 on level one, so should get a good view of everything. Least the bars won't be as bad on 1 as they will be on ground. Think two ground records will be broken this week; one for AAMI and the Etihad (for which the last BIL vs Wallabies still hold the record AFAIK).

GO REBELS!

Tell me about it - it's like Grand Final week over and over. Magnificent!

Last few times i've spent too long at the bar and missed kick-off so tonight i'll be settled in my pew by 7.15pm. How does AAMI handle big crowds through the gates? I remember the teething problems at Etihad all those years ago... Is it worth giving myself a bit more of a cushion in case there's a melt-down at the entrances?

Fully expect an open game, and the Rebels to score two or three tries. Will give it a shake but think the Lions will be just a little too strong. Really looking forward to seeing Hugh Pyle in action. A good showing should see him on the EOYT, or even in the RC squad.

Looking forward to this one, being a Irish fan and a Rebels fan my heart is a bit torn. Especially if Zebo (Munster) gets his hands on the ball. Will be wearing my Rebels top, but really would just love to see a good game of Rugby that's not a massive blow out.

Think the Rebels leaking points early as we do might work to there advantage if the Lions don't realize it's just part of the game plan to lure a team into a false sense of security.

Leaving work right now. Pre-game drinkies then in my seat by 7pm.

I haven't been this excited about a rugby game for a very long time.

It. Is. Fucking. ON!

Pretty decent game so far. Plenty of running, not a lot of stoppages and some good D by both sides.

Hometown will no doubt throw a few spanners in the works....

Another law Jackson evidently does not understand.
How could that have been a try? Lions No 8 picked it up and ran straight into his own pack.
