Rebels should win this with a penalty......or a Cheetahs try to win it for the Cheetahs.....I was totally just about to say that.......LOL. :)

Oh good on the Cheetahs, given their heart breaking loss last week right at the end. Nice to see them get one that way themselves. Gutted for the Rebels, they played pretty well without Beale & co.

I don't think the law book lists that a card should be given more or less simply because its in a different 'context'. We disagree, I'm leaving it at that, these law arguments turn into shit fights & my lingering St Paddys day hang over hasnt got me in the mood for lively discussion.

Rebels should win this with a penalty.

What you're describing is a a player kicking away after knocking it in...

Wheras throwing the ball away (or kicking it in this instance) so the other team can't take a quick lineout is a penalty offence and the player is usually carded...

I think I'll just take your word for it Slim & move on.

On the Cheetahs, Ashley Johnson really gave them some extra go forward there & Strauss also, not just at the end but for most of the game (for Strauss anyhow). Brussow also had some good steals at breakdown time too as per usual.

The Cheetahs deserved that win you'd have to say. Last weeks match showed what they were capable of and proves they have come a long way. Their Currie Cup team tends to go well but has never translated into SupeRugby, but maybe that has changed?

That last sequence was 17 phases and 2:30 mins which shows patience is something that teams should never be taken for granted.

I like the look of Willie 'Spiders' le Roux. Someone to keep an eye on.

Great effort by the Rebels in a very entertaining game. I think it's really starting to happen for them.
?? Strange comment there Bruce. They just lost to the Cheetahs at home. Yes the Cheetahs are no longer the easy beats of yesteryear, but I believe that is their 2nd win ever in Australasia (definitely in Australia).

Yes the Rebels were right in it until the final whistle, but the Cheetahs are far from the strongest team they'll play in Melbourne this year!

nice win for the mealie farmers.

Still disappointed at the amount of times player off their feet and diving in at the rucks and the ref doing FAll.

Each to his own, Brisbok. I think their last win was the 2nd of April last year. They still have a long way to go, but I thought there was a whole lot of promise in their play today. They can build on that and I think they will.

V R Y S T A A T!!!! Rebels have to many has beens and to little young talent. They need the Kings to pass the wooden spoon.

Does anyone else think that Rodney Blake needs to be reminded he's a prop and not a wing?? Or maybe he actually hit a ruck or maul I didn't see.

Rodders made an incredible covering tackle approx 5-7 minutes from the end

I saw him pick and drive a few times. He scrummed well

He is a bit loose for a massive unit though

Bloody hell. We made that far too easy for the Cheetahs. Good to fight back but we put ourselves in an unfair position.

We're not going to win games until we play for 80 minutes.

Just...god damnit.
