Not overly impressed by this news. Fine super player but not going to bring the Rebels forward. Would rate him on same level as Meakes or Magnay tbh.

Gees you would be crazy not to take him as very solid super rugby player with excellent defence. I think he would be great pick up for rebels and perfect replacement for To'omua.

The big Cabous is able it seems to play either side of the scrum which leaves us in the enviable position of having 3 props capable of starting on either side. Given the Rebels history with Injuries that is an absolute must have. However, I just wonder if one of Orr or Gibbon might be questioning where they sit in the pecking order as only 2 can play. You would usually assign your 3rd LHP or THP to a young guy learning the ropes.
