INteresting. Do you know if the Weary members will still get the home benefits they get at AAMI?
Received a members email which said reserved seat members will get a received seat. Didn't seem to say anything re: Weary members.

Baden Stephenson was involved in heavy discussions at the Victorian launch of IRAA this week - wonder if he was signing up for himself or his coach?

Premium seating for the Sunwolves game in Fukuoka is already sold out. It's a shame we don't have that problem here.

Opening game of the season with the buzz around rugby after the world cup it's no surprise it's sold out. The interesting thing will be the Sunwolves squad this year, will they try compete or have they accepted defeat already.

I dont think the Japanese would accept defeat without a good fight

They did last season

You make me laugh, so now a I had to look up their stats. Yes, all right, two wins last year and wooden spoon, 3 wins the previous year and wooden spoon, in 2017 they had two wins and once removed from the wooden spoon and 2016 they had 1 win and wooden spoon. I suppose it has been a laclustre career really. But I hope their players show their spirit and heart and fight it out regardless.

This is the most Rebels commentary ever. Not having any idea of the performance of the Sunwolves, (in any season).

I would be surprised if they win any games this year. They've announced an initial squad of 25, mostly journeymen types. Apparently they plan to fill the rest of the squad with some young up and comers.

There are a few Aussies on the list: Jake Schatz, Ben Hyne, Michael Stolberg, Corey Thomas, Jordan Jackson-Hope, James Dargaville.

Feel free to expand on the intricacies of the Sunwolves performances from their debut until the bitter end. I'd appreciate the insights of "the most Waratahs/Brumbies/Reds commentary ever"

They’ve barely won a handful of games, not played their best players & as a result have put forward a side largely of Australian/SA/Kiwi journeyman. All you gotta do is watch rugby - it isn’t hard.

Maddocks wants to leave Melbourne and return to Sydney for the upcoming season, RA trying to negotiate player swap between Rebels and Waratah’s

Disapointing

Who would they swap, I don't really think they have any backs worth making that kind of swap for. Unless they want to give up Gordon or Foketi. Mack Mason would be a risk that could be worth it. But it's really a lose for us and gain for them.

I would try and pick up a front rower, Wallabie for Wallabie. Take Robertson as that's the only real deal that benefits us as well.

Rebels should release him. He doesn't want to be there. THey have more depth to cover him than any other team. Its better for Australian rugby that he's playing 15. They've already got 38 players signed as far as I can tell!
