Team movement will be posted here as they happen.
Thanks Tim,
I time travelled to Friday the 14th of June 2019 and that final home game was a cracker, we were behind 17-23 with one minute to go and off the back of an attacking scrum, Genia does a sweet flick pass to Cooper, who slices through the Chiefs defence to dot it down about 2 metres in from the corner. With a contingent of booing Kiwis behind him, Quade strikes the ball sweetly through the middle, turns to the NZ fans and gives them a cheeky wink. We are into the playoffs with that 24-23 win.

I could have time travelled further forward to see how we went in the finals, but didn’t want to spoil it for you.

As predicted by someone on the forums a few weeks ago. from P&P: https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/s...r/news-story/0823d179e7d1a220748f031a66102daa
REBELS RAID BRUMBIES’ BACK-ROW STOCKS

THE Melbourne Rebels have poached Isi Naisarani from Canberra and down to the Mexican capital next year.
The Fijian No.8 was a member of Dave Wessels’ team at the Western Force, and was voted the club’s best player in their final Super Rugby season.
But unlike many of the Force crew who followed Wessels to Melbourne, Naisarani elected to join the Brumbies this season.

Pieces of the puzzle have moved again for next year, however, with the Rebels needing a marquee backrower. Japanese star Amanaki Mafi is due to return home ahead of the World Cup, and Lopeti Timani released to go overseas.
The Brumbies have suddenly got a surplus of top-line backrowers, too, with Pete Samu to join David Pocock, Rob Valetini, Locky McCaffrey, Tom Cusack and Lolo Fakaosilea.
Wessels was keen to reunite with Naisarani and we hear the deal is done.
Naisarani will be eligible for the Wallabies next year.

Yeh, the subbie who approved the article needs to have a look at the team photo wall.

Still, words are accurate. He will be a great replacement for Mafi and LT.

Mexican - it's what those people north of the border call us, because we're south of the border.

Badge of honor for me. Means we get to wear cool Mexican kit to Rugby matches.
I've been wanting to find someone that can sew my collection of member scarves into a poncho, like some totally cool members have already done.

Rumours coming out of the UK that To'omua May have signed on for the next year or two.

Eggchasers started it.

Not heard anything on this end.

BUT he did sign a new deal till June 2020 in November.

He's currently in Leicester doing pre-season training though so will be interesting if he gets a call up for the rugby champ.
Although the wording of that tweet suggests it might be a loan, wonder if Cheika is planning on getting him to the rebels on loan next season? If so that might throw some noses out of place.

Can't see it being a loan. In order to be Wallaby eligible, He HAS to sign an OZ Super Rugby/WSR contract for two years.

Out of interest, is he playing more 10 or 12 at the Tigers? It may give more insight into why Cheika is chasing To'omua.

George Ford has the lock on 10, he's been playing 12

Reds couldn't afford with Cooper and Hunt not prepared to go anywhere else and still get paid.

Waratahs have Foley, Beale and Folau to re-sign so not much room there.

An important factor here is that Melbourne has 2 Women's BBL teams that could do with a marquee signing...
