no the above is only partly true, in reality at a Company level the Force dont exist, only WARU; the ARU hold the Force licence, so the Force dont have a vote and so the ARU can simply choose to not put a team up for the Super comp, they don't have to vote to remove them. this is my interpretation of the constitution and the article in the Australian from Thursday. In essence there doesn't have to be board agreement to cull the force.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the ARU's plan to acquire the Force license for the purpose of being able to dump them....
That makes perfect sense. If it's true it means the ARU decided to dump the Force quite some time ago and have been playing the long game.

I wonder if SANZAAR have a plan B in case the various unions end up cutting less than three teams?

Hence the Alliance Agreement and the writ.

As an advertisement for the NZ model of more intervention and greater control of the provinces by HQ, not great, eh?

I'm sure a Sydney or Brisbane school would have picked him up long ago if he'd shown passion in our game.

Tom English on fox this morning stated that cox has assured the players that he firmly believes they will all be playing in Melbourne next year. Some will read into that comment as 'strategic positioning' to try and get a better payout, others will interpret it as Cox showing defiance to the establishment, guess it depends on the narrative you are looking for. Personally I'm more toward the defiance side, but each to their own

Maybe if the kids played in weight divisions instead of age groups he might have enjoyed the game more?

TBF though, he would have been the only kid in his weight division :)

speaking with Rebel people after the game last night, all seemed rather bullish about the long term future/prospects of the team. the licence agreement has a long use by date with a substantial option attached. so here's hoping its just not all BS.

Did anyone get the impression that a lack of front of jersey sponsor was raised by Pulver on Wednesday.

Timani gone 4 weeks. I would of given it 2-3 but being how stupid it was can't complain with 4.

Yeh i also noticed the sponsors. Could also be some goodwill shown to sponsors who they might be renegotiating with.

It was a very silly thing for LT to do. I feel the boys were pretty fired up and overreacted to any niggle sent their way. They need to stay above that. We really didn't need to have someone out for 4 weeks! We have enough injuries for that.

They seemed to just have current sponsors randomly on the front. In TV talk that is a makegood.
I thought it was more of an up yours. They haven't felt the need to do it for a year and a half and then suddenly the ARU come to town licence hunting and we fill the front of our jerseys?

Good for us.

Maybe not for anybody else, but at this point in time I'm inclined to say fuck the lot of them. Deepest regrets to the Force for being the victims of the ARUs incompetency, but everyone else can take an 18 inch dildo up the ass lubeless.
