Gav Luka is a THP, he is probably a season too soon for his debut to be honest, talented young player but has had a cruel run with injuries which haven't allowed him to get the conditioning or experience he should have at this point.
Fortuaika is out for the season, and Hoopert picked up an injury last game, so Luka is last man standing.

It actually wasn't a response to anything, just a warning. They've taken a few seasons to get a wriggle on and a lot of people still seem to think they are the underperformers of a couple of years ago. They beat the Tahs last week and despite a few horrid moments and BR's usual scathing analysis the Tahs pretty much gave it their all and played pretty well.

I'm actually really stoked to see some club rugby players earning some caps. Yeah it's mainly due to some injuries and the under 20s unvailable but it does show their is another possible pathway to playing for Qld & that good performances in first grade do get noticed.
I'd love to see Michael Richards get a call up. He's not the biggest bloke around but like his old man has plenty of ticker. I haven't watched all of jeeps games this year but couple of I've seen he's done well.
