Massive change over in hookers and 2nd row/tall back row stocks all more or less at once. Simmons is the only senior lock we have and we've lost Horwill, Douglas, Fardy, Higgers (overlooked), Dean Mumm, etc. At the same time Polota-nau is our only 10+ cap hooker with the departure of Moore and Hanson. That's a massive loss of IP of the past few years.

I don't necessarily disagree with us moving on from those guys, but Cheika generally hasn't shown much respect for the lineout in his time at the Tahs or Wallabies and the way he's managed the players available with other priorities in mind (ball runners over technicians at lock and hooker) has started to show on the field.
