My 2c, for what it's worth to the new GAGR owners.

As a late 30s internet user, the existence of old fashioned web forum threads like those in "Everything Else" section are rare artefacts and should be preserved.

The 'Everything Else' section is only currently hidden, not deleted. If for whatever reason you want something from it, let me know.
We did the same for a number of unused sections a few weeks ago also.

Our current focus is bringing the site up to date;
- updating all forum software
- removing some of the outdated no longer required assets, eg: user groups and permissions
- minimise the time that Moderators have to spend dealing with certain things and users

This in turn will make it easier to manage and more user friendly for all moving forward.

Happy to take on suggestions to take things forward, simply DM me.
