Will go close, but would b9e challenged by Lington Ieli. Think Lington played more Super Rugby games than Dre and in a much harder position. And never got dominated at scrum time.Dre rookie of the entire comp!

Nah Dre played quite a bit more and started a lot. Ieli only ever came off the benchWill go close, but would b9e challenged by Lington Ieli. Think Lington played more Super Rugby games than Dre and in a much harder position. And never got dominated at scrum time.
Nah Pakeho played more games and he would have played more minutes. Probably harder position but midfield has its challenges too. Both exciting players I just feel Dre did a bit more. Will go close, but would b9e challenged by Lington Ieli. Think Lington played more Super Rugby games than Dre and in a much harder position. OK but does Dre even qualify? Didn't he play some games last year?Lington played 7 games for 174 minutes
Pakeho played 13 games for 759 minutes
No, made his debut in round 3 this yearOK but does Dre even qualify? Didn't he play some games last year?
Believe he was involved in some of the post season squads that are the envy of every other super team. Debuted in Super this year.OK but does Dre even qualify? Didn't he play some games last year?
He debuted against Wales, not super rugby.OK but does Dre even qualify? Didn't he play some games last year?
Yep was at the game, he had about 100 family/friends in the crowd who gave him a haka post match, was cool to seeHe debuted against Wales, not super rugby.
How dare you discredit @Brumby Runner and his Brumbies propaganda with facts!Lington played 7 games for 174 minutes

Not trying to discredit anyone, fans just watch their own team and not others. I can’t comment on Leli given the games he got decent minutes in, I didn’t watch. How dare you discredit @Brumby Runner and his Brumbies propaganda with facts!

Pretty hard to miss Dre in 2025 if you watched the Reds though given he started in so many.
Sorry - tone never comes across when written (especially when poorly written in my example) - that definitely wasn't a dig at you, it was meant to be a light-hearted dig at BR and his *tiny* Brumbies-bias (coming from me with a Reds-bias). Dre has been immense, I was at Suncorp for his debut vs Wales, and it is surely one of the best debuts I've seen, particularly given the opposition and occasion. Not trying to discredit anyone, fans just watch their own team and not others. The solution is obvious, JAS to RedsInteresting that Reds have no first choice Wallaby backs. Lynagh can push his case and McDermott is a bench specialist. Reckon we're going to see any big backs signed? The others have Bridge/Pietsch, Wright/Ikitau, Jorgo/Potter/Sua'ali'i. Whereas with the Reds Paisami, Flook, Anderson, Campbell all have a bit of decent Super player but lacking the final 5%.
Nah I get you. Clearly hadn’t watched many Reds games if he hadn’t realised Dre was starting for a large chunk of the season. Which makes it hard to argue one is a better rookie candidate over the otherSorry - tone never comes across when written (especially when poorly written in my example) - that definitely wasn't a dig at you, it was meant to be a light-hearted dig at BR and his *tiny* Brumbies-bias (coming from me with a Reds-bias). Think he’s more likely to go back to League than move. It’s shit housery from the walking goon bag Buzz and Isaac Moses making sure people are prepared to stump up. It’ll ramp up more with Perth Bears and PNG rumours. The solution is obvious, JAS to Reds
Flook is still young, I reckon he's all the assets to be very good, again, I'm convinced he's better suited to the outside backs, I think his playmaking and ability to pop up in support is underrated, for a centre, he does play a lot like a fullback on attack.Interesting that Reds have no first choice Wallaby backs. Not a big name, but I think Vaihu is the most likely in terms of a bit of size who could be on the field next year. He has been going great for Wests and 15 is probably where we need most cover. Frankie Goldsborough and Xavier Rubens coming through the pathways are not small either.Interesting that Reds have no first choice Wallaby backs. Goldsbrough, honestly, would love him stay healthy for a season, because I've bought into the hype without yet seeing it.Not a big name, but I think Vaihu is the most likely in terms of a bit of size who could be on the field next year. Beyond that there might be a little bit of keeping a seat warm for Petaia, depending what happens with the NFL.
