He looked like he had a lot of potential, particularly being a big lad in a smallish backline.I’ve got no faith in Henry has as a long term option for the Reds. And honestly he’s been solid but we haven’t seen enough to say he will lock down one of spots in the 23 once he’s fit (in a fully fit squad that is).
I believe I read they thought he’d be on track for round 5. Not sure where I read it.The way Flook looked coming off and it being a hammy I don't think he'll be playing for at least a month. If it's a Grade 2 it ends up being 6-8 which would be cruel for him.
Hopefully a fast healer and not as bad as it first looked but I think we can be fooled by him walking around ok during the week but he can't actually push off or run. That last 10% will be what holds him back from play.
Any word on Isaac Henry and his return to play?
Waratahs, Brumbies, and Reds have all nailed it so far.2025 Indigenous jersey just dropped - designed by QRU #222 and Wallaroo #184 Madi Schuck:

I might've been the source of round 5 - last I heard it was 5 or 6, but optimistic. That was a few weeks ago though so could've changed.I believe I read they thought he’d be on track for round 5. Not sure where I read it.
I think Henry has looked really good when he’s played. Sadly I feel like that’s been a total of about 4-5 games in 3 yrs. Having played so little rugby just doesn’t fill me with confidence he’ll hit the ground running - but hopefully he does.
Stewart and Paisami were a very reliable pairing for 20, 21 and 22, playing the vast majority of games together at 12 and 13.Depressing as it may be, but we could really use a Tom Carter in our midfield.
Between Hunters injuries or suspensions along with Flook et Al being injured we've never had a consistent centre pairing since Kerevi!
I think I saw round 5 mentioned too, but not sure where. Henry has shown real promise when he’s played, but with so few games over the years, it’s hard to be confident he’ll hit top form immediately. Hopefully, he proves us wrong!I believe I read they thought he’d be on track for round 5. Not sure where I read it.

Always going to be a few spots thinner than others in a squad when there is such depth in the piggies. Tahs had a lot of midfielders last season but bugger all locks... It's the challenge of balancing the squads.Depressing as it may be, but we could really use a Tom Carter in our midfield.

There will hopefully be some really good payoff having Pakeho and Goldsborough come through at the same time, they both came through Churchie, have played a good bit of age grade rugby together, and are now getting minutes together in the Reds decent off season fixture list. With Dre getting a bit of exposure now Frankie should hopefully be able to slot right in alongside him over the next couple of years.Always going to be a few spots thinner than others in a squad when there is such depth in the piggies. Good part for QLD though is the rookies coming through look to be genuine pros.
They also played the full 80 in the trial together the week before.Dre - Goldsborough started against Suntory together

Bloody hell, I legit thought they reused the same headshot for Vest, Brial and Herbert. They also played the full 80 in the trial together the week before.
Edit: Or that is the trial actually and they played together again a week late:
