Slightly weaker than last week but still a strong side.

Strange that we are playing with a normal 23 and they have like 50 in their team? Would prefer them to also be normal but I think it is important that we try and replicate super conditions at least for ourselves.

I think I'm right in saying no game time for LW, Trevor King, Matt Gibbon, Frankie Goldsbrough, Isaac Henry and Dre Pakeho

That's right, I think only 3 fit players from top squad not travelling, King, Craig, Gibbs. Gibbon, Henry, McCullogh all still injured

I dont think King or Gibbon are injured, just weren’t selected. They were training in the team opposed sessions the days before the tour.

Festival of rugby is returning to Narrabri as a post season match, with Reds and Waratahs men and women to play each other in September
Scared about this. We’ll destroy them twice during the season and our entire first 15 will be wallabies starters by then. Opens up the possibility of a dreaded last match bragging rights for the entire year situation.

Im disappointed Reds are sitting out the first week but I’m very keen for the season to kick off.

I’m happy to engage in pre-season banter and I think I’ll always be someone who errs on the side of being stupidly optimistic but I’d much rather be watching teams actually play and talk about that then speculating on how I think they will go (even with some of the brutal realities that sometimes entails).
