His body has been failing him, but he was very impressive in the final stages of QPR. His ability to read play and set up guys around him is still better than most Aussie backs. Not as quick as he was though. From what I saw of Grealy and Creighton they are only a loss in the sense that they could fill in to a vaguely adequate standard in the absence of someone better.
JOC (James O'Connor) (James O'Connor) is no loss IMO.
Yeah you could see the same in Beale when he took the field for the Force. We really don't produce that kind of talent in Union anymore. His body has been failing him, but he was very impressive in the final stages of QPR. From what I heard he was excellent for the young guys in the squad in terms of their development too.
I like the idea of a custom 'International Member' hat only available through the purchase of this membership. Should make it easier for the dozen QLD rugby fans located globally will be able to spot each other now.
I saw a islander one time wearing a reds jersey in San Francisco and gave him a “up the reds”
got a little smile back… unsure if he was from california or just visiting but reds fanbase is out there
As long as they keep up with the Brizbaine pronunciation they get San Fran in returnThat is pretty cool.
Also, good work referring to the city by it's full name. As someone who has spent a lot of time in California over the years, I found there is nothing Californians dislike more than San Francisco being shortened to San Fran.

I thought Frisco was similarly hated? The Bay and SF are local-approved I think"Frisco" seem OK though

Yes, apologies, I meant The CityI could be out of touch - Bay kind of means a bit more than San Francisco. Kind of SEQ compared to Brisbane.
Surely the Goramuru effect would still have thousands of Japanese Reds fans???At $50, a free hat and some store credits/discounts there aren't enough margins there for this to be big money spinning opportunity so I guess it's just a marketing chance to get some exposure overseas, I imagine mostly in Japan.
