a lot of grumpy old men on here complaining and characterising millions of young men. only one brush in your guys' painting kits?
this isn't a generation thing. this is a quade cooper thing. he's immature and receiving bad advice from 3 individuals who have shown themselves to be idiots over and over. further he's getting career advice from eddie jones it sounds.
that's it.

I think Gen Old Fart should stop passing the buck and have a look at their own parenting skills which created the Gen Y monster! Take some ownership and responsibility for once in your lives!

I am not sure what generation I am, early 30s...

Mate, we would love to look at our parenting skills, but unfortunately our parenting skills might violate the "rights" that you seem to have found which we never had when we were that age.

I believe it was your green voting liberal do-gooding peers who found those rights, not us (I presume I am a Gen Y then?). No one ever asked me what rights a kid should or shouldn't have. :p

Gen X are not the parents of Gen Y. Except in Penrith.

If you want to have a go at Gen X, make sure you watch Portlandia first. They've said everything there is to say!

I'm glad blokes like that don't use helmets. It means Darwinism will eventually happen.

Really? I think it's about spot on.

Just go and sit in your local park for ten minutes.
Or go look in the fast food chain kitchens or the work sites of this country or the offices for that matter.

What i'm hearing here is this:

"When i was 20, i was awesome. I clearly remember it, walking around all awesome all the time. Now i'm 40, and i see all these 20 year olds, walking around thinking they're awesome! How can they be awesome? Ive spent 20 years working on my awesome! They are douchebags. All people who are 20 are douchebags".

I feel all psychic all of a sudden, and what i see is this: In 20 years, gen y will be all grown up and walking around going "back in my day", "kids these days" etc etc.

Plato or Socrates said something along these lines as well. The argument is old as time.
