i thought Quade put in a solid and deserving performance last night, he didnt do anything spectacular but his long passes kept the defence honest

He also showed a suprisingly strong running game and proved quite strong at the tackle which i havent seem him display much of previously, maybe the extras are starting to pay off?

I would describe his performance as Mature, he finally realized that keeping the ball is often better than throwing a hail mary pass.

Good to see him run

With all the pressure on him and coming in with so many question marks hanging over his game I would describe that performance by Cooper as fantastic.

Agreed Blue. He handled himself with great maturity. Good to see his head space has caught up with his obvious talents.

Defensively he was strong as well, apart from getting bowled over by a rampaging forward at one stage, but that happens to the best of them from time to time.

Cooper seemed to have more time than Gits and generally made better decisions

There were one or two blemishes in Cooper's game but by and large it was a great performance. If he learns from that and stops those couple of infractions, he's well on the way.

My favourite bit is where they're talking about how dangerous Ioane will be with Mortlock inside him later on in the tour.

do they really think a Ioane-Mortlock centre combination would work?

imagine, Gits-Ioane-Mortlock..... whos going to pass the ball?

I was reading it as Ioane on the wing and Mortlock at 13. But, you know they could actually mean Mortlock at 12. I wouldn't put it past them.

Have a look where Latham is in the video, never gets the ball, but is always close in support. I don't recall either AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and JOC (James O'Connor) being in a similar position all year. It is what we miss without a specialist fullback.

We need to find one fast.
Or we could just stop playing musical chairs with the position and let someone settle into it

Really impressed with Cooper today, very mature handling of the game in the second half. Thought he was the main ingredient in Australia taking it out of reach of England, decision making and distribution absolutely first rate. Thought he held up in all departments to be honest, would have been very close to my MOTM on first [neutral] viewing.

Unfortunately that's a small demonstration of what bugs me about QC (Quade Cooper) - tackling technique is consistently too high and, like Beale, looking to rip the ball. Last night he also shouldered someone who was falling in a tackle early in the game and I thought Nanny Lawrence would ping him for it. Lucky angle.
